BLM protestors detained in Sydney
Jul 28th, 2020 at 4:28pm

https://au.news.yahoo.com/black-lives-matter-protesters-arrested-in-sydney-02525...

"Six people who attended the Black Lives Matter rally in Sydney today have been arrested, while one of the event’s organisers was detained by police

Addressing the media on Tuesday, Assistant Commissioner Mick Willing said the situation was ongoing and in addition to the arrests, infringement notices were handed out, along with a $1000 fine.

Of those arrested at the Domain, where the protest took place were three men aged 40, 37 and 22, and two women aged 50 and 23.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested and issued a criminal infringement notice for “offensive language”.

According to The Guardian, organiser Paddy Gibson was fined and detained by police, but is free to go - other organisers said they too were fined, but not arrested.

On Facebook, the event’s organisers confirmed the protest had been cancelled.

“Please share spread the word the rally is OVER. The struggle for justice will continue,” a post on the event’s Facebook page said.

“Organisers have been arrested and fined, and a move-on order has been issued for the entire area,” another post said.

“We recommend that anyone who was on their way to the Domain does not come anymore. We will be back.”

On the Facebook page ‎Justice For David Dungay Jnr‎ an organiser said the police action was ‘over the top’ and during the press conference it was confirmed “few hundred” police officers were out in full force, although the exact number was not confirmed.

“David’s family have not even been allowed to have a coffee without being harassed and threatened,” the post said.

During the press conference Asst Comm Willing insisted police respect people’s right to protest, just not during a pandemic.

“We understand the issues that are in question here are significant and are sensitive to a lot of people,” he said.

“However, we must do what we can to ensure that the public in general are safe at this time.”

Justice Mark Ierace on Sunday accepted the police argument that the possibility of community transmission of COVID-19 arising from the Sydney rally made the event too risky.

Yesterday, the organisers of the protest lost their court appeal, after the planned protest was prohibited amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The rally was set to start at 12pm on Tuesday, and on the event’s Facebook page, organisers outlined coronavirus safety protocols to keep protestors safe, including all protesters leave their details to allow for contact tracing if necessary.

David Dungay Junior was just 26-years-old when he died in Long Bay jail in Sydney in 2015, Mr Dungay screamed “I can’t breathe” as guards held him down.

His older sister, Christine Dungay, told Yahoo News Australia she was disappointed the protest was not allowed to go ahead.

“I understand with COVID and what’s going on with the pandemic, but do they realise racism is a pandemic and has been for hundreds of years – and there’s a cure and they refuse to use it,” she said.

“We just want justice for our brother and equality. If there was no racism, my brother would still be here today.”

The NDICP has found that:
▪ between 1979-80 and 2012-13 there were 1,487 deaths in prison custody
▪ the most common cause of death since 2000–01 has been natural causes (that is, illnesses), most frequently cardiac-related
▪ hanging deaths have declined, particularly since 2004–05
▪ 70% of Indigenous prisoners who have died in custody have been 39 years or younger, compared with just over one-half (53%) of non-Indigenous deaths
over the last 10 years, Indigenous prisoners have been less likely than non-Indigenous prisoners to die in custody (Baker & Cussen 2015).

In Australian prisons, there were 13 unnatural (injury and poisoning) deaths in custody during 2013–14, all of whom were non-Indigenous prisoners (Productivity Commission 2015).

"If there was no racism, my brother would still be here today."

Right there is your problem with Spot's proposed board - anything and everything that some unthinking and uneducated person throws a label at becomes 'racism' etc. Obviously, to this way of thinking, the prisoner's blatant criminal behaviour had nothing to do with it.

If he hadn't done the crime, her brother would be here today.  Nothing to do with racism, unless you want the Coons to have a free pass to do whatever they want.

Cue John Smith - wonder why a second generation Eyetie would think his Coon Bros wouldn't consider him even more of an Invader than those of us who've had families here since the 1800's - and not arrived in chains, either..

Jesus - WE consider him an Invader.... and he sure acts the part......

Indigenous elders and doctors were begging people not to go.

The organiser, Paddy Gibson is just a white socialist ratbag using this as just another issue for his long history of anti police anti-government, anti-law anti-everything campaign.

Sydney Higher Institute of Technology (S.H.I.T) - says it all... a great place for 'joining a cause' and getting promoted for doing so... past GF of mine did that with the women in politics nonsense... a fine bit of nest feathering leading her into a nice little council sinecure.

There's money and advancement in getting involved in a cause... cue Pascoe..... and S.H.I.T. is an absolute hotbed of causism.  Cutting edge, innit?   Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

Dickwits like him aren't interested in finding ways to bring Abos and other disadvantaged people into a position where they can benefit from society, they want to bring society down and then make everyone trade places. Last goes first, first goes last.

The old:-  "Bring 'em all down to the same level, and we, the chosen ones, can ride high above them all!"

It's the Beta male's dream to hold some power over real men, and yet they can only do so by bashing those real men into abject servitude like the knuckle-draggers the Betas are in reality, only they use the apparatus of state power to do it, being incapable of doing it on their own.

In the case of Coon-luvvah Betas, like this guy, they use the power of the mob and the cowardice of the other Betas in 'authority' to get their line across.  So bloody scared of a little hostile press that they wet their pants and scream for an opportunity to appease, lest they lose their job.

Look at the Betas in politics... would you buy a used car from any one of them?

True Alphas, like my good self, of course, do not aspire to power, only humanity and decency and true leadership.

Pretty much...and the Abo whose cause he's pushing is a wrongun anyway.
Nobody wanted him to die, but he was a violent crime with a rep for beating up prison guards. They went in heavy to move him, he died. Schit happens to violent people.

This Paddy arsehole is making Abos perpetual victims when most of the time, they're victims of their own behavour.

Have a listen to this podcast about Stan Grant's life and how hard it was for them, but how decent and how hard working his dad was.

"Dungay was charged with a serious robbery offence relating to a home invasion that occurred in 2007, charged with an aggravated attempted sexual assault offence in relation to an incident in 2008 and he was also charged with an offence of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in relation to an incident in the same year.

On January 22, 2008, Dungay was received into custody and received an overall sentence of nine years and six months with a non-parole period of five years and six months, after an appeal.

During his initial time in custody, his history of alcohol and cannabis abuse emerged in “antisocial behaviour” which manifested itself into behavioural issues, followed by psychosis and then schizophrenia."

This is from the apologists, who go on to say he was 'looking forward to parole', but 'died under the force of five officers'.

An all round good bloke....

This seems to be the norm for these BLM morons.

They seem to think it's quite OK for the criminals to attack and hurt others.

But when it comes back to bite them, it's all.....racism.

When you attack someone without cause.
When you invade someone's home, rape or sexually assault someone.
When you threaten someone's life or children.

There be only one recourse , Self defence with feeling.

They think they are so tough.
And when taking on cops, it's total stupidity.

But We never credit these morons with any intelligence anyway.

The Media and it's COONS attacking Politics at every turn.
Unless they have a President in power that helps siphon money into the Media.
