All you need to do is look at every other metric and you can see that the positive test results are because the virus is spreading out of control, not because there is more testing.

Hospitalisation rates, ICU rates, the percentage of positive tests vs total tests, even the death rates are starting to catch up now that the 2-3 week lag is behind us.

The more testing being the only reason there are more positive cases discovered is just another Trump lie that only the most ignorant and stupid fall for.

It's not the media though, it's the stupidity of the people.

Take wearing masks... Trump refused to, his supporters refused to. Trump caught wearing a mask in public, now his supporters are for it.

It's the stupidity and tribalistic nature of the people that's the problem. It's the same reason honest and factual reporting gets called fake news. Those same stupid people can't handle their world view being shaken by the facts.

Thread get abandoned, they fall apart and claim to be the victim, all so they can avoid the facts and reality they simply can't accept.
