Ms Maxwell only purchased the portrait on behalf of the Epstein Foundation. She never said she put it up.

The darling of the right is still behind bars.

"A US judge has denied bail for Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime associate charged with luring young girls so the late financier could sexually abuse them.

"Maxwell earlier pleaded not guilty at a hearing in which women who accused her of enabling their abuse decried her “heinous” actions.

"US District Judge Alison Nathan in Manhattan rejected Maxwell’s bid for bail on Tuesday, agreeing with prosecutors that the wealthy socialite posed a flight risk.

"Maxwell, the judge said during a hearing lasting more than two hours, has “demonstrated sophistication in hiding her resources and herself”.

"The judge set a trial date for July 12, 2021."

She'll remain in prison for the next 12 months, at least.

That'll give Trump her plenty of time to organise a "suicide".

Politics is the least of his concerns.

If Trump raped those children with Epstein, as alleged, Maxwell is the person who will determine if he goes to prison or remains a free man.

Wishing her well on TV was his threat to her.

"Keep your mouth shut, and I'll protect you. Talk, and you'll end up like Epstein".

Trump couldn't care less about politics, but he sure as hell doesn't want to spend the rest of his life in prison.

Interesting take that yesterday's press conference was all about sending a signal to Maxwell: Trump has her back.

Mr Trump will happily reverse five months of talking down a pandemic to stage a press conference to say things will get worse, advise the public to wear masks and start taking this thing seriously.

You know, after the rest of the world did that five months ago.

But it wasn't really about taking the pandemic seriously, now was it? That's all a ruse.

I think it's a smart move. We need to study him. 5 years is the minimum.

Mr Trump could look into properties in the Bahamas. Submarine ports, dungeons, underground nuclear weapons facilities, the lot - all with the Trump portrait greeting you as you enter the clubhouse.
