No real consequences for Daniel Andrews

No real consequences for Daniel Andrews

Even though Daniel Andrews has mismanaged the Corona virus controls/suppression inside Victoria, he gets to just go on,
and [potentially] make more mistakes, which will deleteriously affect the lives of many more people.  !!!

He is the principle 1st officer [wielding political authority], of the state of Victoria.

No one in the elected political hierarchy of Victoria has any authority to override HIS, Daniel Andrews, lawful political decisions and lawful political choices.

Daniel Andrews had [and has], total authority to manage to appoint proper and competent persons to administer and verify the proper LOCKDOWN procedures against the Corona virus, in Victoria.

No one else.

That [example] is the principle problem with modern democratic government in this age.

No politician is held to [nor accepts!!] any REAL consequences or accountability, for serious incompetence in decision making.

Even though they 'assume' [to themselves!!] full [lawful] political authority, and wield real political authority, within the political state.

Never any consequences for politicians - even if they get the boot by their employer they are set up for life and their party rushes to find them a 'job' somewhere - somewhere soft and easy and with a nice income and perks for life again, and usually out of the public purse - again - that bottomless slush fund when it suits them.

They are a disgrace in every way.

Surely Andrews will face an election in the future.

If Victorians decide to vote him out for a poor response to COVID-19, that would be a somewhat serious consequence.

Dan's doing a pretty good job down here.  Cool

Got rid of heaps of level-crossings, added heaps of new train stations, added heaps of new car-parking at stations. Widened roads, made a start on voluntary euthanasia ...

Cleaned up a number of corrupt local councils.

Increased police, nurses, teachers ...

I don't hate anyone, dear.

And there's certainly nothing hateful about voluntary euthanasia.

The word "voluntary" is a bit of a giveaway   Wink

Andrews and Victoria had tougher lock down rules and for longer, it was a few with the virus who ignored the rules and  spread it through the English 2nd language ethnic communities.

It was bad luck and not mismanagement that an outbreak occurred.

Those ignoramuses wouldn't also be English 2nd language ethnics now would they?

Not that being English 2nd language should be any farqing excuse for ignorance or anything else for that matter. Roll Eyes

It wasn't bad luck ... it's been poor decisions made too late.
