Was never a fan of Kevie... never will be.. another political animal who, as a party member, handed to his wife an 'opportunity' to get in on the ground floor of mega-billion government expenditure and thus reap millions and be a 'successful entrepreneur'... from which he benefits to this day...

And None Dare Call It Outright Theft.

Alan Bond couldn't have schemed it better...

It's all about self-interest, son - not about serving the nation and its people.  People enter politics to feather their own nests, not to serve the nation and its people....

Nothing to do with Julia - she was just another of the same stamp ...... and I generally adore Librans.....

There isn't one politician I would spit on if they were on fire today.

howard the coward set a new low, one which hasn't and probably will ever be reached in ankinds history.

This creep got into politics because 1 he couldn't cut it as a lawyer and 2 because he was terrified of the call up for Vietnam.

He did nothing with his time in office other than screw the working man
We lost much because of him.
And now the parasite live high on the hog wasting more cash than any before and probably any after.

His demise will be a great day for the world
With his passing, the world will be a much better place.

I once lived with one of the original Anti-Apartheid South African dissidents. He got to Australia alive, while two others were killed by the SA Govt at the time. Though he lost eyesight in one eye.
He taught me much about Politics in the time I knew him. Tall Aryan blonde South African. He told me once, back in 2003 that 'backbencher' Rudd will be the next PM and in 2007 he came from nowhere to become Kevin 07'.

Nicknamed the Milky-Bar kid. He managed to suppress Peter Garret's threat by the Greens by absorbing him into the ALP and shoving him in an empty room to do nothing. Garret 'took the money' and it bit him in the arse.
Rudd was very slick, but he didn't see the 'backstab' coming from the very ambitious Juliar Gillard who was more a meglo-maniac than he was. Rudd was good, but not good enough against women.

Howard was good with Guns and got International acclaim although only 2% of those guns were destroyed. Australia has more guns now, than when he was around - ironically.
Alas for Howard, he was our worst 'Environmental' destroying PM and could easily say 'Deforestation prevents Fires'.  Roll Eyes

Hawke was just a drunk, womanising, union despot who enjoyed the gravy train and worked the Media the best.

Keating should have stuck at Treasurer, he was great - but like all 'over-achievers' who stole the PM position and it was a gradual slide down for this guy who's only claim to fame now was his clever witty 'remarks' and sledging.

Abbott was good at keeping the 'ranga' women in their corners with putting Hanson back in her place and showing Gillard what she truly was. More a man of 'action' than 'talk' - in fact he was the worst 'talker'... though his remark about 'shirt-fronting' Putin caused a stir Internationally. Too 'macho' for Politics, no wonder he copped a head-butt attempt.

Turbull was good at Economics, like Keating. But lacked that 'Political' spark always and couldn't 'buy' his way out of losing to ScoMo.

ScoMo is your orthodox Protestant Politician and so far has taken the bull by the horns in the most hardest period for any PM since World War 2. His holiday timing was terrible and he still gets criticism for his 'absolute power' attitude over experts in non-political crisis. God heals people, more than the Medical and Rescue services.

I must admit I was once a fan of Rudd.  He seemed to bring to the position of the leader of the opposition a breath of new air.  Unfortunately, when he made PM, he proved a dud.  He was found to have a temper and worse, he was all furious motion without any real action.

Gillard, OTOH, proved an able communicator and negotiator.  It was no wonder most of the caucus declared they would not work with Rudd.  She was a much easier person to both get to known and respond to.

Tone Rabbit even got along well with her.   His problem was that he wasn't interested in working with Gillard.  He want the PM's job and so he worked assiduously to resist her and her Government, creating the "Red Headed Witch" sobriquet which dogged her throughout her term.

The ALP lead the way in replacing sitting PMs.  The Tories followed suit.  Appears neither party learnt anything from the exercise unfortunately.  Who reckons Scott from Marketing has any greater chance that Turnball once the polls come back negative?  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
