Did it create danger? It would seem not as there has been no spike in COVID 19.

What could he be worried about?

Trump rally attendees must agree not to sue campaign over potential coronavirus exposure

A disclaimer for the June 19 event makes no mention of required social distancing or safety precautions, such as face coverings.

Herd immunity is developing - the numbers of new cases are falling as well as the lethality.

Herd immunity requires 90-90% of the population to be immune right?

With the current death rate of known infections vs deaths, if 95% of the US has herd immunity from spreading the virus alone (not a future vaccine), that's 17 million people dead.  17 million people dead because of Trump if you're linking his rallies to herd immunity.

Anything less will not achieve herd immunity and the deaths that accompany the infections will be for nothing and besides, the entire point of herd immunity is to avoid infections by using vaccinations to make the population immune.

Infecting the population to reach a point of immunity...  It's a serious "wtf are you talking about" moment.

But alas, it's just a basic tard's Trump defense...

Now I'll admit that's on the high end of estimations because that is assuming the death rate is 5.5% calculated from known cases vs deaths but given the issues with testing (thanks to Trump) and the asymptomatic nature of the virus the actual number of cases would be much higher which would in turn lower the death rate, but you're still looking at millions dead in the version where Trump is deliberately infecting people at his rallies to achieve herd immunity which is what you're saying to justify his selfish actions.

In your world, a vote for Trump is a vote for millions of dead Americans.

4 Americans died in the Benghazi attack that you still to this day want to see Hillary in Gitmo for.  But you're ok with Trump's death count being millions?

ooof...

Many people on here doubt the number of Jews that died in the Holocaust but if you ignore those bigots and take the accepted value, around 6 million, Trump's death count would be 2-3 times higher than that, if your defense of him Rich is reality, more if you take the bigots version of the Holocaust into account.

That's a really great defense, you've really topped yourself with this one.  Bravo.

I will admit to not being impressed with Trump over his covid response  but this is a bit of a stretch spot....

he is mostly up against State Governors  who do not wish to co operate with him anyway......and as we saw the rioters dont give a stuff about covids.....be realistic for once.......New york is still the worst affected State. but the deaths are dropping..so thats a good thing...

The curious thing is - with these BLM riots COVID 19 cases haven't spiked. Wink

It must be so disheartening when all you have to do is wait for climate change to really kick in. Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

The media gave rioters a pass for not distancing and wearing masks. Cause expressing your constitutional rights by burning and looting was more important than say going to church which are still in lockdown.

"Enemy of the people" - quote Donald Trump. How true!

Wrong again you walking wet fart. Viruses, like you, are parasites that can survive in warmer climates. Even in the apex of summer COVID has shown no signs of decreasing.

Between June 6 and 9, there was a 36 percent increase in the average number of new cases in the US, according to a leaked report by the Centers for Disease Control. At 27,221, yesterday saw the highest number of new cases since May 21. Globally, new cases surged to a new record, at more than 140,000. Arizona’s state health director, Dr. Cara Christ, sent an urgent letter to Arizona hospitals, asking them to activate their COVID-19 emergency plans. Yeah, virus do "die off" in the summer, don't they? And we all know Arizona is a cold climate in the dead of summer. Shitbird.

Besides, shitbird, I'm talking climate here, not viruses. Floods, droughts, to changes in humidity can bring diseases to climates that never experienced them before. Climate change has and will continue to bring about human and animal displacement and hunger. The United Nation’s World Food Program has made their report for 2020 warning that 73 million people in Africa, beset not only with poverty, but also with conflicts and the impact of natural disasters, economic crises and climate change, are at risk of a food crisis or worse by the end of the year. Don't think that can happen in ol' F A T T Y's America? Think again. As for a virus and the strong possibility of more lethal virus coming in ol F A T T Y's America alone widespread poverty and ramshackle public health systems, makes America especially vulnerable to worse pandemics. Without urgent action and funding, tens of millions of Americans face starvation and millions could die due to another pandemic.

Richdude wrote on Jun 13th, 2020 at 1:05pm:
And yes herd immunity is having an effect and what usually happens during a pandemic the virus lethality decreases because the virus kills to many of its hosts - its survival is at stake.

Where is your data to support your stupid claim? Where is it? Hiding in Alex Jone$ F A T asshole? You have no idea what in the f - k you spew on about. Herd immunity is a pseudo-science being pushed by the most reactionary voices within the financial oligarchy who use the media to provide social or scientific credibility for their deadly agenda and yet you bitch about Bill Gates while blowing Alex Jone$ for your "information."

Again, for your insane herd immunity to work, implications for the US are that 1.4 million more people will have to die, 3 million to 5 million more people will be hospitalized, with many more convalescing at home and needing care from their family, before the population as a whole could expect the virus’s growth to become naturally subdued. That is a fact, you walking wet fart of an idiot. The doctrine of herd immunity is an explicit policy for a socioeconomic pogrom not public safety.

Stay stupid, you incel troll.

So were these new cases in the cities with the riots or were they rioting statewide in the 19 states?

You do understand the difference between states and Ccities; I presume.
