Just make them a cup of coffee and keep out of their way.

For a good job ask them what sort of beer they drink.

For good relations always pay up promptly and in cash where possible.

Australian Tradies are the most expensive in the world.
I'm sure they can afford to buy the Customer a coffee instead.

Has anyone noticed, on the news whenever some event happens that requires quick thinking and action to save a life, it’s always a tradie that comes to the rescue?

That tragedy with the petrol doused family on fire had tradies risking burns to save them whilst being fought off by the husband that committed the crime.
That recent truck that ploughed into the petrol bowser and a tradie dragged the driver out to safety before the truck caught fire.

These are just some instances and shows a more physical readiness to respond to an accident or event etc. rather than a stunned “bystander effect”.
Must be a mentality they have to be more physically able and quick to react.
It’s any wonder the tradies/blue collar workers, as athletes do also, being more physically required to work or compete, they have more injuries than say, sedentary type workers eg: office etc.

Just an interesting observation.

And our electrician tradie is a female. She is amazing and will be up on the roof weaving through wiring etc.
A female mechanic had accompanied buyers of a vehicle we were selling once.
Funny thing is, still typecasting as it just is at times, looking at the male to shop talk, but female talks shop instead. I love those surprising moments in life 👍🤗

Internet went off and i rebooted and then had to go in main house to see what the problem was. Yeah a painter had just unplugged it and plugged his crap in - as far as i can tell it was a radio he plugged in! I gave him a double adapter and told him off. Seriously he could have at least given me some warning.

Why do ppl do things like that?

Why do tradies always have to have the radio on really loud when they're working?

And why must it always be a real crap station?

So why listen to boring music?

Listening to Taylor Swift and AC/DC is hardly exciting.

Why don't they put on a jazz station, or some alternative blues fusion punk?

If you've got a boring job, listening to stations with Black Thunders, icy cold cans of coke, and battle of the sexes competitions is hardly going to add any excitement to your day.

A little less Matchbox 20 and lot more Jack White might just liven up their boring days a bit.

something to listen to. Especially if you work alone

Talking to residents slows you down.

Listening to the radio not only gives you something to help ease the boredom or monotony, but it dissuades occupants from trying to strike up a conversation and thereby distracting you
