Does that also mean we should bin all the Chinese stuff we already have, because 100% of the population have and will continue to buy items made in China........? Roll Eyes

Also many things you think are made by the Japs are in fact made in China.

Does anyone have an estimate of the annual turnover of any of these companies in Australia, or globally outside of China?

Quote:
Revenue for Lenovo's Australian and New Zealand operations totalled AU$719 million compared to AU$737 million a year prior. Services revenue was down by a quarter on 2017's AU$31.3 million number to AU$23.3 million, while revenue from sales trickled down by 2.3 percent from just shy of AU$700 million to AU$683 million.

Every appliance repairman (all 3 of them) I've spoken to says that the brand they're called to repair most often is F&P

Not necessarily because they're no good, but more because of to many bells and whistles that when they stop working, stop the whole machine.

I bought some F&P appliances back in 1997 and they still work - the ones from 2010 not so much. They do have bells and whistlers though. Never tried to get one repaired.
