Chinese water purchases
May 10th, 2020 at 11:33pm

What a sellout, they even sell our water to the Chinese and they don't even need a land entitlement.

"One Nation leader Pauline Hanson says it’s “an absolute disgrace” the government has done nothing about Chinese Communist Party owned companies buying up Australian water, including in the Murray-Darling Basin."

What are they going to do with the water?  Put it in their back pockets and take it home, back to China?  Grow up little man. You're a fool and a troll.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

The ears prick up when I hear its the Chinese Communist Party buying our water. They will channel the water to their own dairy beef fruit veg farms to feed themselves, they are already doing it. They will also charge us to drink our own water.

All Australian farmers on the rivers pump only their legal amount of water all the time.  However Canada is the largest overseas farm-buyer and probably will charge us to drink our water.

Everything the CCP does has a strategic angle.

Could you imagine any foreign power having any control over a critical resource in China? Nup.....

“Jihua’s distribution reach in China will see Broo Premium Lager penetrate the Chinese beer market and expand into a major brand over the coming years,” says Kent Grogan, founder and CEO of Broo.  Broo, which produces Broo Premium Lager and Australia Draught, raised $10.5 million at 20 cents a share when it listed on the ASX in October last year."

Do you think there's a difference between an ethnically Chinese person buying a private residence to the CCP buying a strategic assets like water or ports?

Another crystal clear example of where the private enterprise model has failed utterly to produce the goods.

What is totally wrong about the failed water management scheme is that people buy and sell water 'rights' without the water actually being 'managed' in any real way- just another easy way of transferring public held wealth in Treasury into the hands of a few on the inside.

After 'consolidated revenue', 'privatisation' is the greatest rort ever perpetrated on a gullible public.

BOTR!

All Chinese corporations are eventually owned by the CCP, either through no or low interest 'loans' to Party members, or directly but through a series of cut-outs.

Broo ha-ha - got a look at its structure and such?  Modern day Opium Wars?

Who in the hell is Jihua?  Is that kind of like a shadow Australian company that produces and sells beer direct in China?  Or is this just another 'export' that will end up paying buggar-all taxes?

I wouldn't.... not knowing the realities... and I like Chinese as people - just not their government, which is as crooked and slippery as a well filled with snakes.

I understand ChinkerGuv is pissed off with Australia and threatening sanctions of some kind... did-ums.. Cool

I'm calling bullshit. If you listed your place for sale and the agent told you that you had an full price offer from a chinese couple and another offer by someone else that was $20k less, you'd take the highest. You can lie to yourself and say you wouldn't but i don't believe you

No. Everyone wants to sell to the highest bidder, irrespective of who the buyer is. Chinese companies are just as profitable as aussie companies if you're the seller

"Broo Limited has announced that Jinxing Beer Group has started its production of Broo Premium Lager in Zhengzhou. Last year Broo sealed the partnership with Jinxing to produce the beer and then distribute through its nationwide Chinese network."

The Australians are quietly stealing China's water supply and blaming their partner , a Shanghai water-drug lord.
