Globe is warming, Booby! Warming not cooling. Look:

Last month was as hot as April 2016. 2016 was a super El Nino year showing just how much temperatures have risen. The El Nino cycle is starting to ramp up making 2020 80% likely to be the hottest year on record.

The jury is out and has not sat since the late 1940s. At that time studies for the US Navy & Air Force showed AGW was indeed real.

In the 1960s-1970s there was a media beat up, and some 3rd rate scientists, about a coming ice age. Clean Air Acts removed the sulphate emissions and AGW, no longer masked, started raising temperatures again.

Now we are running into problems from AGW: less nutritious crops, sea level rise worsening floods, cities becoming unbearable etc. Environment should be about discussing these issues not the spiel of a grifter.

The World is also becoming Wetter.
Our recent Drought was but a very short one.
It flooded in the Riverina back in 2011 with bumper rains for many years after.
It was also more intense.
In fact, you'll find that the fluctuations of weather patterns, with more Sandstorms, Dust storms, Cyclones, Hurricans, Tornados, Droughts, Floods, Earthquakes, Volcanos (that cool the earth down with their ash in the atmosphere) and many more 'extreme' levels of intensity.
Stephen Donaldson summed it up as Earth Bane and that was in the 70's.

Science's most predictable answer to this is for everyone to invest in a Geosphere ruled and run by them. They get to play God with the world. They break the Horse and throw a Saddle on it.
...apparently NASA has discovered a far distant 'habitable zone' planet with what looks like a 'Geo-Sphere' around it.

That Geosphere can have Ronny Reagan's Star Wars toys on it too.  Where the only escape is to live undergroundin the caves of steel.

Let us look in a bit more detail at temperatures:

We can see that the temperature drop was less than 0.5°C—not the 1.3°C plus that would be needed now. A new LIA now is extremely improbable.

The deepest part of the LIA was during the Maunder Minimum late 17th to early 18th century. You are hard put to see the extra cooling. (The MWP and LIA were not synchronous world wide, the LIA affected mainly the northern hemisphere.

The LIA started at the end of the fourteenth century, nearly 300 years before the Maunder Minimum. The clear message from this is: grand solar minima do not start Little Ice Ages. Gone now is all the crap Dubyne has poured into Booby’s pretty little head. Utter nonsense about a LIA now. The cooling from a GSM is just not enough to start a LIA and that is that.

With CO2 at 418ppm and rising there is no chance of a LIA happening now short of a major meteorite slamming into the Earth. Certainly not due to a GSM that is not happening anyway:

Lee acts to shut down debate on AGW and related issues. I think he feels threatened by AGW and by closing threads down he can return to pretending it is not happening. Booby doesn’t realise lee is throttling the life out of Menvironment (the life Booby hasn’t throttled out of it.)
