The funny thing about Psychics is that they are
'natural'
versions of Psychologists/Pyschiatry/etc.
Like a FreeDiver is to Technical Diving.

I've met a few 'real deals' (who don't really deal with crystals, Tarot Cards and other 'cliche' gimmicks) with an 79% accuracy. It's more than a 6th Sense, more like a 7th Sense.
Some of the best Psychics who have helped Police solve murders don't really know how exactly to explain their ability as different circumstances force them to use different methods or approach. A lot of the time, to do such is quite exhausting on their part.

As one bloke who tried to warn about something bad going to happen at a Rural School where a Teacher was murdered a few weeks later. He could only try to get a clearer picture by moving an old antennae around and it only came through to him via severe chronic depression (a few other circumstances came to him during that time). So for him, the Psychic ability came through during a compromised moment in his life. Most thought he was a fruitcake and who could blame him? One part of his brain had shut down like a bad accident, while another 'contingency plan' suddenly lit up.

Anyway. Being Psychic isn't all that its cracked up to be.
But hey, Blind people hear better than 'Normal', Deaf people are more visually aware than normal, Colour Blind people can see in the dark 20% better and Dementia can pick up on people's emotions/feelings stronger than normal.

Something Lost, is Something Gained.  Wink

And..... whatever anyone is discussing on this forum, all these big ads come up in everyone’s posting!
So annoying.

Re: psychics, I have gone to a couple and there are things said to me that they could not have possibly known. So there’s something there from “the other side” that’s relaying messages.

I have found, none to be 100%, more 80- 90% when it comes to “mediumship”.
Some are the real deal. But there are always the wannabes.
I sent my daughter to England, because of her “gift”, actually one year ago  to this date, to attend a Hogwarts type place (I endearly call it) people like Winston Churchill were regular guests there, probably got some good inklings from. Look up the place called Stansted Hall, Arthur Findlay College.

Predicting the future stuff is something I and my daughter don’t agree on.

I could write of some incredible things that have happened, even in the last 18 months that came from “thought transference” and went to check and was true!

There’s more to life (and death) than we realise.
Need to be less distracted and more tuned in.

Predicting the future comes in many ways.
http://www.ozpolitic.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1588675122
Sometimes its research, knowing history (as the discovery of New Worlds turns the Old Worlds back on their pasts) and 'people'.

Real Psychics never ask/expect $$$ up front.
They only get $$$ if the crime is solved by them, etc.
They don't run a business at the back of a incense Arty shop.
They use more than just 'visuals'.
Most of the time - the 'awareness' comes in moments of crises. The 6th sense of 'past experiences' comes into it.

True Psychic ability is something that is given 'freely' without rules and regulations or ceremony or fancy attire.

...most of the time, true Psychics wish they never had the ability. More a curse, than a gift.

Bingo!
Thank you Jasin, for understanding that.
My daughter. She has been venting recently exactly that.

We all have an ability in some way, but for me, I am used to that, it’s like normal. The amazing experiences she has.
In fact, there was one “guide” she had that was male, and without saying too much, made me think to myself, how maybe too much of that one particular guide was hogging her, when others needed to come through with messages.
I had a thought in mind.
Daughter comes in half hour later to me and say, that he told her my thought and I was wrong. My exact thoughts were relayed.
I was stunned!
It’s getting stronger for her as time goes on. She’s a tad frightened of it.
Her closest friends said she should help police with missing or murdered victims.
That will come to be. When she’s ready and confident, she’s going through a hermit stage for some reason.
In the meantime, they say, when the student is ready, the teachers appear.

First it comes in 'coincidences' and being able to recognise and be aware of them in the first place.
Second, never try to make sense of them.
Never try to 'control' them, just keep following and be aware.
Then it comes like 'Fluke' experiences and not allowing Ego to exploit it.
Keep following it to either something or nothing.
Sometimes its ages between experiences and the ability to 'join the dots'.
Then after much time, one begins to see something happen before it actually does.
Eventually it becomes a 'reflex' action.

It's really all about being 'aware' and 'open' to it.
As soon as someone tries to 'make money' out of it - the $$$ replaces the ability and you're just running on vapors of something lost.

Her gift is gaining strength and there’s so much to go through, and process.
I think it will stay with her as long as is required.

She does not drink, or take any medication or social drugs. Is also very fit.

If one didn’t want that gift, and it can be confronting and frightening and even misunderstood, then they could  ‘blot’ it out any way they could rather than embrace it.

And you are right, that it’s not something they control.
It’s something one had to have trust or blind faith in.
That’s been the big part daughter had gone through.
Each stage takes as long as the student needs before moving onto the next lesson.

Trusting your hunches!
You needed the money, at that particular time, and there it was for you 👍all you had to do was trust your instinctive nature.

Anthony Hopkin's character in a recently shown movie about two Psychics going at each other used the same word: Hunch to describe his ability.

Maybe its like using a Navcom to follow your path through the complexity of a city, rather than just relying on a Street Directory?
Maybe it's like ditching the Navcom and Directory and just following the signs?
Maybe its just letting the lights and traffic dictate where you end up?

I do know, its just about staying alive with all of the above.

All the signs along the way.

I believe everyone has some basic psychic ability - don't ask me how it works and I never trust anyone who makes a living out of it.  I've had a few experiences myself - enough to know that sometimes something happens that cannot be explained - such as giving out a six digit phone number to someone when I'd never heard or seen the number, and getting it right.

We can't always 'see it coming' - but sometimes the information is coming in and you ask yourself why you didn't see it in time or why it was left so late, and I agree it can happen in times of crisis - though I pick horses better when under the influence of draught Guinness.

Several times I've focused on finding a $20 note on the floor of a club and done so.... winnings always seem to be ear-marked for something.

How do you spell 'suggestibility'?

Did you hear that "gullible" has been left out of the dictionary?

It's a bit like emailing the tech support of your favourite porn site and demanding they show you their tits.

The psychics don't have a contact form , obviously. But they should know that their tech has a hot offer by a new agent.  Why haven't they emailed me?

It's OK I didn't tell them the ad was on the FD Forum.  If you know what they're thinking, maybe they could use you and you could use the $US?
