You have to wonder about those figures - some say they're false.

However is does fit the usual CDC pattern of exaggerating outbreak deaths then quietly readjusting them down.

Did you check the CDC figures or just rely on what you got from Twitter/Youtube?

If you click on the "About the Data" link on their figures it explains, its data are updated daily based on "Case notifications received by CDC from U.S. public health jurisdictions and the National Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System (NNDSS)" and includes "both confirmed and probable deaths."

If you go to their Cases in the US page, you'll see they're reporting

TOTAL DEATHS: 67,456

This more up-to-date page will obviously report higher death figures that one whose data lag by 1-2 weeks.

Indeed, two weeks earlier, the "Cases in the US" page had displayed a total of 35,443 deaths, a number much closer to the 38,576 figure reported by the “Provisional Death Counts” with its 1-2 week data lag today.

This claim that the CDC revised the numbers down is as you can imagine, given the source, totally untrue. Is like comparing stock prices from a two-week-old newspaper with those offered today by a cable news station, and then attributing any differences to a conspiracy rather than the mere passage of time as reflected in more current reporting.

It is the usual ignorant attempt to lie to people. It's that simple.

You have to wonder about those figures - some say they're false.

I mean, everybody's saying it.

Most of this stuff's false, Rich. Intelligence information, Russia, the CIA, the FBI, the employment figures under Obama - future unemployment figures from the Department of Labor too, most likely, we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Of course the CDC would be putting out fake numbers, it's what they do. This is the Deep State we're talking about here, they've been after Mr Trump from day one.

Sure, we had a brief moment where they published some good employment figures, but that can't last. The Deep State's all-pervasive, it's got America by the balls. Look at the Department Of Justice, what a joke. Barr's doing everything he can to restore justice to the American people, but it's an uphill battle.

And the lying fake media go along with it as usual. Even Fox is letting fakers on the air every now and then, you can't keep a lid on this stuff. Thank heavens for truth warriors like Tucker and Hannity, that's all I can say.

If it wasn't for Russian news sources, we wouldn't be getting the truth at all. Thank God for decent patriots like Alex Jones who have the guts to stand up and tell it how it is.

Do you know what it is? Envy. They just can't stand to see a guy like Trump win. They all want to bring him down to their level.

The Department of Health announced it now is counting the number of positive virus tests instead of the number of people who test positive. If one person is tested three-times and all three tests are positive, the records now show three cases. Other states, including North Carolina, have been reporting numbers that way for several months.

If that's true it's not reflective of case numbers which is a mistake.

But I've not looked into your claims which 9 times out of 10 when I do it's wrong.

I wonder if, when I have time later, this will be one of the 9?
