RSL Light Up The Dawn (ANZAC)

My daughter shared with me a very moving experience.
She is up in Queensland, has earphones plugged in to a link for the ANZAC dawn service.

Said she went out at 5.55 am with a lit candle, not knowing what to expect in her neighbourhood, to see many come out with candles also.

So beautiful. Particularly with restrictions with inability to attend a Anzac parade due to Covid-19.

More to do with Europe, yet coincidentally at same time as WW1. But yes, do we have a international medico day in the year to celebrate all nurses and doctors past and present?

Nothing else seems to work. War does not, it’s a divisive thing. Peacetime doesn’t, it seems to lend itself towards selfishness instead.

Yes, I agree!

Yet it worked out differently as it exposed the originators to be despised and financially challenged.
It exposed a lot of truths we otherwise had no real clue about, especially as the world is focused, now more than ever, with media etc

Serves ‘em right. It’s backfired.
