The law is the law.  Has Pelly got the virus yet ?

BH,  is that the Revelations sermon ScoMo gave ?

The law is the law

Amazing how that statement gets thrown out now its gone your way.

  7 judges to 0...

no ifs or buts..

if 7 judges pronounced him guilty it would be the same..

those who disagree would have to suck it up....they know more about the law than we do..

I am sure they don't.  But, it is inarguable that seven High Court Judges have agreed with me.

How many people here won't accept the ruling?

I'm curious.

No, you are a crappy turd, Turd.  You just call your affliction 'curiosity'.   You are just a devious lying turd. Not curious.

Andrew Bolt on Pell: Shame, Shame on so many
AMM 08.04.20.

Cardinal George Pell “should never have been convicted” with his persecution representing “one of this nation’s greatest miscarriages of justice,” according to Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

...
Mr Bolt said a “witch hunt” has permeated facets of society against the Cardinal, which has subsequently “ruined his reputation, destroyed his brilliant career” and “robbed him” of his freedom.

On Tuesday, Cardinal Pell had his sexual abuse conviction overturned by Australia’s highest court, in a unanimous decision, after having spent 405 days in jail following an initial ruling which had found him guilty in 2018.

Cardinal Pell had come out and said he holds “no ill will toward my accuser” adding “I don’t want my acquittal to add to the hurt and bitterness so many feel; there is certainly hurt and bitterness enough”.

Mr Bolt said shame should fall upon the “state institutions which tried so destroy a man loathed by the Left as a conservative and chosen by the mob to be the scapegoat for his church.”

“Shame also on the ABC, our national broadcaster, for hysterically promoting damaging claims against Pell that all turned out to be too absurd to lead to charges, or too flimsy to go to trial, or now, too weak to survive an appeal”.

Mr Bolt also showed a recreation of the alleged timeline of events which were levelled against Cardinal Pell saying, “neither Pell, the supposed criminal, nor his victims could have been at the scene of the crime at the only time the crime was possible”. “It seems the High Court agreed”.

am not the biggest fan of Andrew Bolt, But in the case of George Pell I was always convinced it was a set up by the left. At the time of the first appeal and the hatred and the pile on , the trolling of posts on F/B. I have watched over the years the Labour Party and the ABC bend every which way to damn the Catholic church, I felt that George Pell was to be the ultimate ginny pig to wear the blame for every dirty priests goings on, in the past, I was born into a Methodist family , a great Grandfather in Parliament , my family a political hub. and I remember the talks by Bob Santamare (I have misspelt his name) The Catholics were urged to vote against the Labor Party back then when there were reds under the bed, and so many were communists….There has be a hate filled ,raged by Labor ,and the left from that time forward The ABC and Sarah Ferguson should be ashamed, of course with the left the end justifies the means…..will they give up no they will not , but every time that justice prevails ,we can call ourselves lucky….by the way luck and the Law freed George Pell

I never believed Cardinal Pell was guilty of what he was charged with and so it has proved.
The first instance of “get Pell” the swimming pool affair, saw the journalist Borngorno, Pell’s room mate at the time, say he never saw anything untoward in Pell’s conduct. His voice was heard one time only as far as I remember.
Good on Andrew Bolt for his unfaltering support of Pell, he is to be congratulated for that.
And what a disgrace it is to see the hands of an innocent old man cuffed as in the photo supporting the next article.
Many have much to apologise for, but it is safe to say there will be no apologies, but certainly more vilification led by that great moral outfit OUR ABC who should be de-funded and dissolved – permanently.

George Pell publicly spoke out against the Global Warming Scam (as did Andrew Bolt) and so he became a marked man for the Left in VictoriaStan.
Congratulations to Andrew Bolt for his courage.

ABC must apologise or lose all government funding.

No - the High Court Judges agreed with me.

Without their verdict it would have meant that anyone
could make up a bullshit story about someone else -
with no physical evidence  and
no corroborating evidence from another witness -
and have them sent to jail for years.

It should never have gone to court and was
actually a witch hunt.
The resources should have been better spent on more worthwhile cases.
