A parent of a child's from his daycare tested positive but fortunately the child tested neg. It was closed for 2 days we and just got a notice it's open tomorrow.

I had someone to palm him off to for a few hours this arvo for a quick surf

I've got one word for dealing with "self isolation"- PORN. Good quality porn. Can't help being isolated out here in the bush, we're isolated anyway, governments hardly even know we're here, let alone Chinese and other foreigners

There's a paddock between me and each of my neighbors, residents are spaced out in the village and we're all traditional Aussies which makes things a whole lot better than in the big cities. Anyone who needs assistance for whatever, there's a neighbor there in two minutes helping out

Nice lush green grass after all the rain, so I've been out mowing. My ride-on is out of commission at the moment so it's gunna take a couple of days to do the job with the smaller hand push mower

The virus seems a world away from us, we just go about our normal business

Sounds good. In some parts where I am. It's like the lush green Shire from the Hobbit fame. Rolling hills of green and people looking happy and being friendly all the time.

Only the uncivilised City 'orcs' seem infected with their own miseries.
