Hypocracy
Mar 9th, 2020 at 12:07pm

(This Thread was commenced in Chat and moved here by Setanta early afternoon of the 9th March, 2020.  Mod.)

This is from the bloke who taunted a member here over the death of their child. What a scumbag.

Scotty From Marketing exploits the deaths of three little kids and their mum for a photo opportunity, and you applaud him for it.

I don't think anyone here is surprised.

Umm....Trump was not voted in by a majority.  Hillary beat him on the majority vote by over 3 million votes.

It has no meaning because it never happened.

Trump wasn't voted in by a majority.

Far from it.

Hillary Clinton received 3,000,000 more votes than the alleged child rapist.

In November 2016, approximately 74,000,000 people voted AGAINST Donald Trump.

Only 63,000,000 voted for him.

Crying?  No.

Disappointed?  Yes.

However, we accept that he is the legitimately elected POTUS, and most of us also accept that he'll probably win a second term.

The record needs to be set straight though: he was not voted in by a majority of voters, and he is not a popular President.

And there we have it!

Happens every time, without fail.

Someone says Trump is popular.

They're corrected.

Then someone changes the subject to the electoral college.

"Jordan Spieth won the Masters because he hit the most birdies". Impressive, sure. Unfortunately not the objective. "But, but, but, you're saying Jordan Spieth's not a good golfer".  No, I'm just saying he didn't win the Masters

You just don't get it, do you?

We aren't discussing who the President is.

We're discussing how he got there.

cods claims that a majority of people voted for him.

They didn't.

In fact, it wasn't even close.

74,000,000 people voted against the alleged child rapist.

Only 63,000,000 voted for him.

We all know he's the President, and we all know he was voted in legitimately.

However, most Americans don't want him.

Live with it.

Cry if you have to, but just live with it.

Your analogy sucks but not only that it actually means the opposite of what you apparently think. You see in the comparison Jordan Spieth would be Donald Trump.

Hillary had the overall better score but Trump grabbed more birdies, mostly without asking.

It was recorded so don't think the answer is unknown ?

A little illegal foreign assistance isn't really cheating is it ?

It has no meaning because it never happened.

Trump wasn't voted in by a majority.

Far from it.

Only 63,000,000 voted for him.

Setanta can't post in here (not sure why), so he asked me by PM to explain my numbers.

63 million voted for Trump.

66 million voted for Clinton.

AND ... 8 million voted for the other candidates.

People often forget that Trump and Clinton weren't the only horses in the race.

So, 66 + 8 = 74

74,000,000 people voted against Trump.

63,000,000 people voted for him.

Clearly not a majority.

In fact, the majority did NOT vote for him.

That's correct.

He's the POTUS; he won the election.

That's not what you were talking about though.

You said he was elected by a majority.

He clearly was not. The majority of voters voted against him.

Nobody here is disputing the fact that Donald Trump is the President of the USA, so I'm not sure why you've decided to change the subject all of a sudden.

Wrong as usual it is one of the other things he could have and should have been impeached over but no not the impeachment.

The impeachment stain will be seen as the highlight of Trump's single term of government.

Dunno about that one term, but he will forever have a * after his name on official records, just like Clinton does.

Yep.

And there's this too:

"The largest Dow Jones point drop in history occurred on March 9, 2020."

BUT HE IS STILL THE PRESIDENT OF THE US AND A...

OH DEAR PETAL

ITS THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE THAT ELECTS THE PRESIDENT .........

EVERYONE KNOWS THAT   AND GUESS WHAT!    HE GOT A MAJORITY..

TRUMP 307

CLINTON 227

tough but true...suck it up.
