Pretty much, ISIL were brilliant at recruitment through social media.

Having read Stormfront and other white supremacist/nationalist website forums over the years, it is a real mystery how these guys manage to recruit anyone who is not like-minded. They would have to appeal to those who are on the precipice of wanting anyplace antisocial to belong. Facebook being a good way of them finding out about right-wing antics.

Teenagers especially those with poor social standing tend to be the targets. As an aside look at the INCEL community. They recruit pimply teenagers and tell them its not their fault the girls don't like them

I have no association with incels. I can't empathise with them. Had I not been good at having sex, then I either would still be a virgin or not been getting much. What I see online, I only see those losers who are at the end of their sanity posting videos before they go out and do something violent. If they really don't want to be incels, then they really would not want to seek out other incels and make themselves known.
