Australian PM Scott Morrison lambasted for party donation link in wildfire post

Prime minister’s tweet on wildfire measures included link to donate to Liberal party

Australian prime minister Scott Morrison was lambasted and mocked on social media for politicising a beefed up defence-force response to the nation’s catastrophic wildfires.

A 50-second video set to electronic music posted on Mr Morrison’s Twitter and Facebook accounts Saturday outlining additional military-backed measures initially

included a link to donate to the political leader’s Liberal party

, sparking thousands of comments.

Many praised the unprecedented scale-up of army, naval and aircraft services, while others labelled images of the prime minister talking to firefighters as

“shameless” advertising

It takes public outrage before Scotty from Marketing realises he has a problem that must be fixed....He then quietly removes the problem with a faux inquiry or promise to listen and do better next time whilst denying there was anything wrong with his actions or response in the first place....The problem for Scummo is he is being judged for his actions (or lack there of) not his mangling of words to say SFA???

ScoMo and Australian Politics in general would 'steal' like a criminal from the Australian people at every turn.

They don't like it when Australians get money of their own.

Disgusting how ScoMo, after weeks of hiding from the attention behind Bridgette McKenzie possibly getting sacked instead. He now tries to exploit the situation for the NLP coffers.
