One of the republicans said that Trump said it isn't true.

That's a good point, Dnarever. How can we not listen to Mr Trump on such a matter of national importance? He's the president, no?

I'll let you in on something. Back when the fake news were writing Mr Trump off, he had investigators over in Kenya discovering all sorts of interesting things about Obama.

Top Secret, of course. The fake media would have had a field day if Mr Trump released that. His lawyers told him to keep it under his belt for his own safety.

Mr Trump wanted to release it, but you know what lawyers are like. What can you do?

Yes, they did.

Questions were asked first.

But no questiobs are allowed when sending American  money to corrupt bastards.

Questions, eh?

But can I ask you to do us a favour? This Crowdstrike thing...

So you condone interference in US elections....so we didn't need 3 investigations and Muellar and now this impeachment hoax...good to know.

Thanks, Rider, I never quite thought of it that way. That's quite a wake-up call.

DOJ and Congressional investigations are actually foreign election meddling. I see what you mean.

Which country are they based in, dear?

Which Deep State?

Physically California is the deepest state from memory.

Texas is more wide though or is that thick.

Quote:
Former national security adviser John Bolton claims in his upcoming book that President Donald Trump personally told him that nearly $400 million in aid to Ukraine should be frozen until Ukrainian officials agreed to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, the New York Times reported late Sunday.

That could undercut a key element of Trump’s defense in his impeachment trial, namely that the aid freeze and the push for a Biden investigation were unrelated issues.

Bye bye, Donald.

So a president must remain silent when an ex-VP's son is suspected of involvement in corruption in a very corrupt country, just because the ex-VP is thinking - if memory serves him (ahem) - of having a crack at replacing Bernie or fake Pochahontas as the geriatric Dems candidate losing to  Trump.

In other words if you are running for prez you should not be subject to any corruption investigations. Free pass. Unlike if you ARE prez. Then no matter how flimsy the grounds are, you will be subject to endless attempts to convict you of corruption, starting well before you got the nomination or won the election.

Well he did in 2017 and 2018 or as in 2016 2015 and 2014 as the republican controlled senate had - you know back when it happened and was relevant.

no of course not.

He still had the option to do it properly or honestly, there is a process. In stead he hid
what he was doing and what he was doing is illegal. (A Crime). And then there is the well documented fact that he only wanted an announcement and not the investigation?

Now with all the other evidence we have Bolton saying that Trump had explained that it was about the investigations.

If it were about corruption Trump would have released the documents and testimony that would have supported it. Instead we clearly see a cover up. Not even the President legal team tried to argue seriously that Trump isn't guilty.

Even if it were about corruption, acting corruptly to expose corruption should bring him down too.

I remember from kindergarten that 2 wrongs don't make a right.  Why is it that Trump and his supporters forget that when Trump is doing the "wrongs"?

We've seen even though Spygate was proven by the IG Report to be a baseless conspiracy theory that Trump's supporters can't handle the idea of those doing "wrong" to investigate Trump, but it's ok the other way around?

Please...

Get a better defence.

Most of them, including Trump, are still stuck in the kindergarten stage of development.

I'm being absolutely serious here.

The way Trump (and his supporters) reacts to criticism, by throwing tantrums, is reminiscent of a toddler in the terrible twos.

"Terrible Twos: the toddler is trying to express independence without the communication skills to do so.

"Without an emotional vocabulary to rely on, a child can quickly become frustrated and have no other means to express those feelings than with anger or aggression.
"

Tell me that doesn't describe Trump and his supporters to a tee.
