Recently women who own waxing salons have been taken to a Canadian tribunal and put out of business because they refused to wax a woman's scrotum.

He must be an oracle!

He is to his (stupid) followers.

Some of what he says may be deserving of respect, but why does he attract (stupid) people with weird fixations, like authoritarianism?

You nailed it the first time. He makes stupid people feel clever.

Conspiracy theories have the same appeal.

Yeah but they're at least funny. Peterson is sad at best and dangerous at worst.

Not even a little bit funny.

I am not so sure: nothing funny about Obama not having an American birth certificate (so said the nutters).

Yes it is! It's desperate and ridiculous, verifiably untrue and hilarious.

Hilarious if for no other reason than it shows how preposterous they will be, That it does actual damage is tragic ... but that doesn't detract from the ludicrousy.

The danger of Peterson is that he wraps a little bit of truth of up in lies. That little bit of truth is enough.

It's an age old formula.

Yes, but Trump rode the lie that Obama did not have a valid birth certificate to the White House.

And Trump is a joke. History will recall him as being a joke. History will be very unkind to him.

And he is, currently, a joke to most of the world. An absolute laughing stock.

Who said we should have Moon Bases by now, Mortie? Which liberal politician promised you that? Are you drunk again?

The old fossil as you so charmingly put it

Is a highly educated and accomplished Shakespearean actor.

I have seen some of his more cerebral work, he is brilliant.

I enjoyed it too, I'm in.

But, those political points, they're in Star Trek's DNA.

If you want a sci-fantasy show that does not get politically "woke", try "Mandalorian".

I have only watched the first episode of "Picard". So far, it is not all that good.
