You a Star Trek fan too
These shows have always been ahead of the times,
Remember the Capt Kirk Star Trek days? All those different nationalities, including a black woman, which was a very “bold” step towards where no one has ever been before.
Then there are relatable messages in these series,
I love it when science fiction becomes science fact
Read Hyperion.
You're Farcasting right now.
Got it
- Farcasting
A farcaster is a means of transportation which allows one to travel immense distances instantaneously, without any time delay. They are central to the Hegemony of Man, as a system of farcasters connects the planets comprising the Hegemony's WorldWeb
Then....Freecasting….being attuned to the void which binds.
Without being a spoiler I see there is an audio book on Hyperion, just might get that.
Another fave is anything time travel, I bought the series of Timeless, and what I love about this series, is they travel to real historical situations, with facts abounding, and it's a great teacher of history.
Wish there were more shows like this for history in every country, not just the USA.
The movie, Dune 2020 (released later this year) will be an absolute must see, described as cross between Lord of the Rings, and Star Wars.
