if not, Bridget goes

As i stated in a previous post, Barnaby Joyce would be (more than likely) feeding as much negative publicity as he could into this scandal.    He will argue that with Bridget gone or at least tainted goods, he is the best choice for the Deputy Nats Leader.  If that happens, look out McCormack.

Scotty from Marketing gave his church a taxpayer funded gift through another slush fund in Home Affairs....Does this corruption ever stop....Scummo should resign right after he sacks McKenzie and Angus Taylor???

If you imagine labour is innocent of playing this game too your understanding of Australian political history has a huge gap.

She resigned only when put under severe pressure. Not much different in any way so far to the McKenzie affair. Eventually, she will go the same way as Kelly but only if Albert Squeezy can muster enough embarrassment.

Bridget McKenzie is expected to resign from her role as agriculture minister as early as Friday afternoon, according to reports.

Political journalists including Sky News political editor Andrew Clennell and The Australian columnist Peter van Onselen are both reporting that Ms McKenzie is expected to leave her frontbench position.

Not at all. The Libs always find an excuse to subject Labor through the unions to a Royal Commission every time they get in. Fraser did it. Howard did it. Abbott did it. If there was anything on the Labor side to find, it would have come out years ago.

On the other hand, the Coalition and their dealings with their business mates has not been subjected to that level of rigorous scrutiny for decades.

If there's only one side of politics that has a lot to fear from a strong anti-corruption commission with retrospective powers, it is not the Labor side of politics. At Federal level, Labor's had majority government only once in 25 years. Do you really think Labor's got more to fear here?

Wishful thinking, showing your triumph of hope over experience. Ros Kelly QUIT POLITICS. McKenzie is unlikely to do so. All that has happened under this government to their disgraced Ministers is they have a bit of a time-out on the back bench for a year or two and then come back in a new frontbench role. Stuart Robert is an example.

Why the delay?  She should have fallen on her sword immediately...

Susan Lay, the multiple property owner and traveler to mate's NY parties on public money - is back on the front bench and in full cry and full pay... serve a little time out, probably picking up a little extra committee money along the way to sustain her, and then back to the front..

That's how Gladys does it - no pay rise trumpeted from the rooftops - just allocated extra money for being on this and that committee.. and boy - how those committees grow in number...
