If news coming out of the US is correct
there are a number of cities in the US which could probably do with a good burning
True, but Aquascoot's right. Fat Steve and Janeen can't be bothered burning cities. They're too busy watching Hannity and re-tweeting fake news.
They are, after all, inspired by the master manipulator.
Cometh the hour cometh the man, no?
Indeed, we need to face the fact democracy, although better than other political systems, has one profound fault. Any population with a large enough percentage of idiots can elect an idiot to be in charge.
Sure, but you need to understand the new paradigm, Ayn.
Basically, it goes like this:
Fox News employs a celebrity talking head to come on TV and talk about the issues of the day. You know, things like Obama being a Kenyan-born Muslim and Hillary running a child sex ring in a pizza shop.
The celebrity starts thinking big, and is encouraged to start his own media network. Roger Ailles advises him to run for Prez to get some political credibility.
The celebrity does so, promising to crack down on Mexicans and Muslims and black crime. To everyone's surprise, he wins the primaries. Fox News sees the ratings potential and promotes the celebrity as a credible presidential candidate. He then gets erected as Prez.
The celebrity gets into a right old state. What about his business plans and golf holidays? He wasn't supposed to
win.Don't worry, they say, you can do both. The country runs itself anyway. Just appoint talent and presenters off Fox News. Contact Rupert for instructions.
Okay, he says, he'll do it. Just black out most of his callender as "executive time" so he can watch TV and practice his golf swing.
It's a new paradigm, you see. The voters love it.
Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
