No idea. Hostgator has not told me anything. I had two live chats with their tech support that went for over an hour each. The first was mostly just verifying who I was, as I could not log in to my billings account for some reason.

I'll move this thread to feedback.

I did a bit of research and it looks like hostgator itself is the reason for the slow page load speed. I'll look into transferring us to a different host, which hopefully might speed the site up a bit.

Hostgator did have a good reputation in the old days but who knows these days!

Also it has been fairly good, taking 3 days to rectify is a bit much but overall it has run well for long periods of time.
