Is there a way to stop threads being destroyed?
Dec 16th, 2019 at 5:32pm

just wondering?..its alright to say  IGNORE the pests/trolls.. but it doesnt stop them....

I have left many threads as they have been taken over by the stoopid....who get some kind of pleasure from repeating themselves... one or two  definitely appear to have a "virus" of some kind...

what is the answer?? someone must have one....

or maybe I am the only one it annoys.. Sad

Fair question, I have trouble picking the difference between a troll and a stupid old whit guy denying facts.

you dont find one line repetitive comments   boring and soul destroying??...

maybe because you almost never start a thread....you too only come here to hit on the membership.... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

so yes I guess you too have a problem with repeating the same thing... over and over......

those that do it are like a virus    constant... do not see they are ruining the forum.. its a deadly tactic to shut people down...or even get rid of them entirely....

it isnt what I want to see happen thats all.

yes it is a fair question random-the op is always starting such threads- over and over and over- but we never get an answer- she just likes to whinge about very little as i see it- John Smith is always hanging off asking questions because he knows he is the biggest troll in this place-all good- another thread for the bin -

no. Sure some stuff is repetitive, but that doesn't mean it's not related to the topic.

I'll start a thread when i have something I wish to discuss. Does my not starting threads destroy your threads?

no. I only get irritated when someone repeats something over and over DESPITE being shown they were wrong the first, second and third time they wrote it

I don't mind one line posts if its relevant on topic etc, I hate the opposite - people who post 6 images that mean nothing and repeat it 20 times on the same topic or people who post a full page of varying text fonts colours and highlights.

I know what you mean Cods -
just look at how Greggy tried to trash the thread here:
http://www.ozpolitic.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1575883160/90

I'll go through and delete his crap in a few days but for now I leave it as evidence.

cheers

It's easy to pick the fukwits, they use terms like 'leftists/the left/' regularly.

Any threads started by them should be corrected, after all they start them to attract posts then complain when the bait works.

Smith,
Greggy was using a strawman fallacy.
You wouldn't understand that because you're so thick.

Why is it that Monks' mongs always trash threads?
Does Monk send you here to do it?

aussie was the architect of that one but Monk would have joined in no doubt about it-  it was ridiculous and his trolls were only to happy to carry out his orders- probably still going on but what does it matter anymore ?
