Trump might not be your usual POTUS... but Pelosi looks like a Bordello Madam.... all thats missing is her broomstick.   personally I wouldnt put her in charge of the ladies restroom...  you think trump is bad  Roll Eyes  well shes the female version.

Pelosi isn't in line to become president and Trump is much much worse. Trump's sanity is questionable at best. Trump has no problem with honesty or integrity - he simply has none.

Trump didn't confess to sexual assault - he bragged about it. You were manic about Thompson but Give Trump a pass for much much worse.

Well here we are and all the Lights bull shite has proven false again.

Next week the impeachment papers will be sent to the senate.

McConnell having trashed his own integrity will never again be elected and may well continue with his sham trial, it could even be appealed at the high court.

The only real question is how many dishonest republican senators will McConnell take down with him.

they were given until the 12/Jan which isnt NEXT WEEK dna...

how many weeks is this now???????   gotta be a record I am thinking.....doesnt say much for the demos does it.......but of course blame the republicans....well who else is there????? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Every day it was delayed more evidence came out and none in Trump's favour - none of it.

Still the best thing the republicans can do and the only way they can save their own reputations is to throw Trump under the bus.

In 3 years or 5 years or 10 years it will all come out and those who lie for Trump are going to be exposed as exactly how dishonest and corrupt that they are.

its all in public now.. so lets hop[e the REAL truth does come out...... we also know the democrats are not squeaky clean.... will you take on board all their lies and mischief as well dna... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
you do struggle with doing that.

Not one single one of the main direct witnesses who participated have given evidence and not one document has been released. The cover up has been extensive and efficient.

I would say that no more than 15% of the overall knowledge is out there.

And once again we have Russia involved in several different ways. Hacking Barisma, Financing Parnis and Juliani as well as donating to trumps campaign via Parnis.

of course you are suggesting only the Republicans would stoop to disappearing or fudging....

Oh, I know. Was it Pelosi's clothing choices you were complaining about recently? I believe you used the feminist argument that they disqualified her from being leadership material.

Do you think she should dress more like Hillary, dear?

you have made one of your many mistakes petal...

I dont do memes  or whatever they are called now....

A lot of that's probably true

But trump is charismatic and entertaining

The democratic leadership group look like the sort of people you would avoid at a party
They just look so glum and uninspiring

Trump has understood that in the new media world
Entertainment is far more important then logical analysis
He has been paying attention
People don't vote based on logical analysis
Surely this is self-evident
A Manhattan billionaire with a gold toilet getselected courtesy of millions of down and out unemployed ex factory workers
How the hell did trump pull that off
He certainly couldn't appeal to a logical analysis
He just had to be as entertaining as hell
And he is
And people love it
Hence why he gets four more years

Dear dear dear

Why would we be discussing integrity and not electability when we are discussing the president of the United States
By the definition of the game itself
Electability is what we should be discussing

When the shareholders at McDonald's get together
For a shareholders meeting
Do they discuss the profitability of the McDonald's corporation
Or do they discuss the integrity of the food

By the definition of the game itself
One looks at the game
In this case climbing to the top of the dominance hierarchy and occupying the oval office
And then one aligns ones thoughts words and actions
With attaining that goal

Trump's not trying to get elected as supreme pontiff of the Vatican
He's working on his electability

Trump is paying attention
Unlike your ignorant self

Oh definitely this could be the case
Hilary might be the super bowl in terms of ratings
Trump might be the Wimbledon final

But let's face it Elizabeth Warren and Joe biden
In terms of being a ratings success
They are more like the Parramatta under 13 soccer team
Being broadcast at 2 a.m. on SBS

Actually, having seen Hillary in one-on-one interviews, she is indeed charismatic. She's engaging, she's got a sharp sense of humour and is most persuasive. She's bright, can spout facts and seamlessly weave them into a narrative. She can recall real stories about people she's worked with, and importantly for a politician, she has the uncanny knack of remembering names.

There's no woodeness or arrogance with Hillary up close, unlike her persona on the rostrum, speaking to the crowds. The fake smiles, the high-fives, the whole self-indulgent, forced enthusiasm thing. Hillary hates it.

Trump loves it, and therein lies their difference. All Trump can do is campaign. All Hillary wants to do is get down to business. She loves the job of government, planning and reforming and working on political consensus. You can tell this, you can read her enthusiasm. It's usually contagious. Most of all, Hillary is intelligent and self-aware.

Quite a difference, no?

That's a subjective point of view.

I don't find any of the people mentioned charismatic.

Not one of them.

However, I can tolerate seeing Biden or Warren on my TV screen - I don't immediately change stations.

When Trump and Clinton come on though, I can't change the channel fast enough.

Clinton is as charismatic as a dried up dog turd, yet she demolished Trump in the popular vote by 3,000,000 votes.

How bad does that make Trump?

That's my point - you keep saying that Trump is charismatic and well liked, but all the evidence proves otherwise.

You haven't read Neitzsche, Haidt or Paretto. It's a certainty you haven't listened to Biden, Sanders and Warren.

Indeed. Our discussions here follow a formula. We know where they'll go, it's like doing sums.

Year 9 maths, innit.
