to be perfectly frank

we should have more in the tank for disasters like this..

it isnt as if Fires are new  and unexpected.....

we should have a real emergency disaster system in place like they have in countries susceptible to earthquakes.....are defence forces should be trained in cases of disaster...

we never seem prepared   ...

Which party has been the Federal government for most of the last 25 years, cods?

If you're looking for someone to blame, that's a good place to start.

absolutely  I agree   but another party was in for 6 loooong years they also had plenty of time.....and money   remember?

The Liberals have been in for the last six years. The Liberals removed the carbon price that was actually reducing emissions. Why aren't you blaming them, cods?

The Liberal NSW state government made tens of millions of dollars to the firefighting budget this year, cods.  Why aren't you blaming them?

The Howard government did not ratify the Kyoto protocol and was in office for 11 years and eight months. Why aren't you blaming them, cods?

The way cods avoids blaming the Liberals for ANYTHING makes me think she's poked out her left eye with a salad fork.

And if Labor did act on anything, cods would never, ever be happy. Labor raised the aged pension by $30 a week, the Liberals made various cuts to the pension in several budgets... and pensioner cods blamed, yep, you guessed it, LABOR!! She's not a rusted-on Liberal, she's WELDED on. And cods will STILL blame Labor if the Libs take away her pension in a few years like they plan to do. How will you eat, cods, when your Indue cashless card isn't working? Will you blame Labor for that too?

"I forgot didnt Hawke have 10 years."

Are you trying to say that the labor party were in for 16 of the last 25 years Codsy? Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

Cods refuses to blame the Libs for anything. Cognitive deficit, innit. She must think the sun shines out of Menzies' butt even though he's been dead for over 40 years.

Irrelevant. The current government is the one to blame first, especially if they are past their first term.

We're in the third term of a Federal Coalition government. They've done very little. Why aren't you blaming them, cods?

We're in the third term of a NSW Coalition government. They cut millions of dollars out of the fire services budget this year. Why aren't you blaming them, cods?

Why do so many focus on assigning blame instead of fixing the problems?

How the heck does the happy clapper live with himself doing this to disabled ppl?
