... the President and his three eldest children -- Don Jr., Ivanka and Eric -- violated federal and state campaign finance laws and abused the Donald J. Trump Foundation's tax-exempt status.
According to the lawsuit, the Trumps allowed the foundation to be used "as little more than a checkbook to serve Mr. Trump's business and political interests."
Yes, but compared to the criminal Clinton Foundation it smells like roses, no?
Quote:Clinton Foundation
In September 2016, Charity Navigator gave it its highest possible rating, four out of four stars, after its customary review of the Foundation's financial records and tax statements.[76] A different charity monitor, CharityWatch, said that 88% of the foundation's money goes toward its charitable mission and gave the foundation an A rating for 2016. In 2015, based on revenue of $223 million and an expense ratio of 12% the foundation spent in excess of $26 million to complete its mission.[77]

The Clinton Foundation raises money and uses it to improve public health, rebuild communities in the wake of natural disasters, assist struggling farmers, fight the opioid crisis, etc.
Whereas The Trump foundation raises money and uses it to prop up Mr Trump's failing businesses, and finance his personal political campaigns.
Interesting.
I think you're missing the point, Greggery. The Democrats, the courts, Charity Watch - they're all in on the biggest WITCH HUNT in history.
It's terrible the way they hunt Mr Trump down like this. I mean, sure, Mr Trump's cut a few corners from time to time. All businessmen do. Who can honestly say they haven't started up a charitable foundation to give money to themselves? It happens all the time.
Besides, it's actually a good thing. Who wants to see this money go to the poor? They're just mindless chodes who live lives of pure garbage. Wouldn't you rather see this money put into something useful?
Portraits of Mr Trump perhaps? Payouts for Mr Trump's lawsuits? Payoffs to Mr Trump's sexy fillies?
Of course you would. We all would. After all, who doesn't want to make America great again?
Apart from the leftards, that is.
