Loudoun County

In recent years, the county's rapid growth in its eastern portion, settled by educated professionals working in or near Washington, D.C., has changed the demographics, and the Democratic Party has become increasingly competitive in the county.

That explains everything.

Indeed.

Educated voters support the Democrats, and illiterate high-school dropouts support the Republicans.

Did you only just find this out?

There are a lot of illiterate high school dropouts in the US.

Nobody is disputing that fact.

The POTUS is one himself.

It stands to reason that he'll win a second term.

I've said that all along.

The fix is already in.

Like all your type you have absolutely no idea. That's the same reason Labor can't get back in. Elitism and snobbery. Plenty of Mexicans and blacks have grade 2 education but you wouldn't throw that label at them hey?

No need for more words than that, Jocko.

You summed it up perfectly.

"Smart Democrat, Dumb Republican."

Educated (intelligent) people are smart enough to know that the Democrats' policies are better than the Republicans'.

Not perfect, by any stretch of the imagination, but most certainly better.

The uneducated Trump fans could hardly spell the word 'policy', let alone understand how they affect them.

Republicans can only handle small, bite sized pieces of information.

"Build the wall".

"Lock her up".

etc.

Three word catch phrases, with words containing no more than one syllable.

They're as dumb as dogshit.

"Jobs For You"

"Pay Our Wages" (two syllables there - might not work as well)

"Fund Our Schools"

Bumper sticker solutions - that'll win over the righties.

Like it or not, in american politics, the GOP attracts the uneducated, the racist and the unintelligent.  Australia is quite different. Both parties attract the smart and the dumb, the educated and the uneducated but in America, the dumb vote republican - even though they cant spell the word.

Haven't you ever wondered why?

I know why.

Educated people are smarter.

Smart people vote Democrat rather than Republican.

It's hardly a mystery.

And that's while you'll be sucking Trump's balls for another term. Amen.

There are a lot of illiterate high school dropouts in the US.

Nobody is disputing that fact.

The POTUS is one himself.

It stands to reason that he'll win a second term.

I've said that all along.

The fix is already in.

I like how you summed up the complexity of the US political landscape in a few short words- Smart Democrat, Dumb Republican.

Mr Hammer: "That's the same reason Labor can't get back in. Elitism and snobbery."

Nothing to do with elitism or snobbery.

Labor's policies are too complicated.

Look at this: "Stop The Boats".

Remind you of anything?

"Build The Wall".   "Lock Her Up".

Three word catch phrases, with words containing no more than one syllable.

That's how conservatives get (stupid) people to vote for them.

Labor give way too much detail when explaining their policies.

If they dumbed it down, they'd win over some of the uneducated coalition supporters.

"Build The Roads"

"Care For Sick"

"Jobs For You"

"Pay Our Wages" (two syllables there - might not work as well)

"Fund Our Schools"

Bumper sticker solutions - that'll win over the righties.

At least middle "dumb" America can hold their heads up high Pecca. Their ancestors  all pulled together and defeated the Nazi's whilst yours threw bouquets of flowers at the Nazi armoured columns with one hand over their weeping eyes.
