From my experience, it usually blows out 50 to 75%.

Yup - got a quote once for some lecco work - $1800 - job done invoice says $2700 ...

Now we get the ex's son to do it - he's a lecco and free - and he even supplies hardware for Mum Cool

... if I need plastering or building done, my son is in the trade....... even cheaper hardware is worth the time... tradie price is much lower...

That's if you take the cheapest quote and don't asks questions like, what variables could cause extra expense.

Besides this one example of one employee doing the wrong thing ....

No matter what laws there are in place, if you want someone gone it can be done without recrimination.
