thinking of running poll
Oct 15th, 2019 at 10:15am

we all know that we must stop giving juliar the attention she doesnt deserve.
so i would like to start a 'fine jar'  for any one that mentions juliar or a thread of hers.

proceeds should go to worthwhile geenie cause - such as 'land rights for gay whales' ...  or a cause voted on by those involved.

any takers?

Just do what I (and others) are doing.

Completely ignore juliar.

Don't respond directly to any of its posts.

Just ignore it.

And when it starts abusing people in this thread, just ignore it.

Ignore.  It.

Yep.

Best advice is to do what Greg recommends.

If you starve it of the attention it craves, it will eventually go away. Or it will just keep talking to itself.

(I still believe it is a sock of someone 'important' here).

I've wondered about that myself.

Reminds me of the old defunct Yahoo message boards.

When the boards got a bit quiet these members with odd names like "Johnny12345" or "Katie01234" would appear and start a (usually one line) controversial thread.

But, they would never return with any follow up replies to their threads, no matter how many replies from other members their threads got.

Then they would disappear for a while and reappear again when the boards got quiet. I always suspected they were bots which were programmed to post during quiet times. Or, they were real people who were paid to post.

I woudn't be surprised if there were a few bots in this place too.
