Should it really need to be specified that it would have been said in the same context as that used by you ?

Some of the Best September Snow in 20 Years WE'RE EXTENDING!

BREAKING NEWS: Perisher’s natural snow depth has hit 2.25 metres. We’re extending the season!
That’s right, get excited! Conditions are incredible in Perisher with the natural snow base hitting 2.25 metres, we're extending the season. Skiers and boarders will now be able to turn and burn the sensational snow until Sunday 13 October, that's all the way to the end of the October NSW School Holidays. HOW GOOD IS THAT!

The good news doesn't stop there: after significant snowfalls, an Early Opening in May, cold temps and impressive August and September storms, resulting in an extended season, 2019 has become not only one of the best seasons, but officially Perisher's longest season in memory at 136 days.

Longest ski season in memory.  Roll Eyes

2 points
1) local weather is not the same as global climate
2) snow depth is a function of precipitation, not just temperature

but don't let facts get in the way of your cherry picking  Wink

Being a denier means EVERY slight uptick, no matter how inconsequential, HAS to be marked and celebrated.

Over the long term, the planet warms 0.2°C per decade, about as much as a GSM, whenever one might happen, might cool by.

So now we come to the alteration of words. Nobody can now mean somebody.

1880 to 2010 = 13 decades so that should equal 2.6C

According to the most recent NOAA assessment, 2016 which is their current hottest evah, was a mere 1.0C.

1880 - 0.1C  2016 - +0.9C.

https://www.climate.gov/news-features/understanding-climate/climate-change-globa...

And that is relying on SH temps that up until 1950's had very few ocean temps and were mostly "made up". Quite apart from a mere 10 longterm shore stations.

Of course you may have a new updated version or perhaps you are talking about 1968 on.
