Was Trump lying when he made those claims?  He was the one actually pushing the fabricated story.

Yes but Fox is a special case - they lie for the right.

Fox News - Proudly producing Fake News Since the 1970's or longer.

The Fox News relationship to NEWS is tenuous at best.
