Latest news channel 9
Taylor Swift has pulled out of the Melbourne Cup.
She's too busy to attend.
Excellent news.
The public are such dupes -
they said her earnings were around $175 million per annum.
Wonder who is right Bobby or the vast majority of everyone else ?
I'm no fan but to say she can't sing is nuts.
She can hold a tune -
just.
But there's nothing extraordinary about her voice.
There are literally millions of people out there with much better voices than hers.
If music could be seen in colours, hers would be flat beige.
Just because someone is popular, it doesn't necessarily mean they're talented.
Yet millions of people buy her music and go to see her perform.
Quote:Just because someone is popular, it doesn't necessarily mean they're talented.
Not many people are writing hits at 14 and performing multiple smash hit all self written by 16. Not many people without talent can tell you they produced the highest selling album of that decade when 16. In fact it isn't not many it is nobody else she is the only performer to have done it.
I don't see it possible to have achieved what she has without talent. I actually liked her early music and the audience she targeted got it.
You don't need talent to be popular.
That's been proven over and over again.
I think she's one of the most banal & over rated performers to hit the music scene in years.
Very average voice, puerile songwriting, and very limited skills when it comes to playing musical instruments.
Lots of people like her though, and that's fine - good luck to both her
and her fans.
Nothing wrong with making people happy.
I wish them all the best, but don't expect me to listen to her crap anytime soon.
