Taylor Swift has been locked in by the Victorian Racing Club to perform at the Melbourne Cup on November 5.

Swift will perform two songs in the Mounting Yard so anyone with a general admission ticket can see her.

It will be her only public appearance in Australia following the release of her seventh album Lover.

VRC chief executive Neil Wilson said he had been considering Swift for a while.



The trouble is that her songs are awful -
they all sound the same & she sings off key -
I can hear bum notes in every song -
and her vocal range is about 1 octave.

Sure, she's popular - there's no denying that.

However, she's talentless and soulless.

Cock rock is a musical genre.[1][2][3] Philip Auslander uses Simon Frith's description of cock rock characteristics:

    "cock-rock performance means an explicit, crude, 'masterful' expression of sexuality ... Cock-rock performers are aggressive, boastful, constantly drawing audience attention to their prowess and control.
