I have not been following this case too much.  But...I am aware he gave evidence and that he denied any and all knowledge of his Wife's death.

He was charged with murder, but was convicted of manslaughter, which means the Jury was satisfied he caused his Wife's death, but at that time, he did not intend to kill.  Defies logic.

Has me stuffed, but my caveat is....I have not been following the case.
