It's illegal.
The legal age for Sexual (consent) activity is 16.

Really it should be 20, because 16 is still a kid and being 19 is still a 'teenager' like a 13 year old is (10-19). The Book industry even 'exploits' their market calling them Young Adult and sells books labelled like that to make them feel older than they really are.

Make the Legal Age 20 and you might find that kids will grow up less confused and stressed because 'mistakes' always happen when things are rushed. Just ask Niki Lauda Wink

Ironic that a sexually depraved nation like the USA makes it's legal age 18 though. Roll Eyes

Seeing as there's no mention of adults, just "we were really young", it appears that the answer is yes.

If one kid is 6 and the other 11 it certainly becomes a legal issue. And if the older kid manipulated the younger kid even more so. If they are both 6 and willing participants then it won't have any traction in court. But one kid is always the leader in such actions.

I lost my virginity to a 32-year-old woman, when I was 12 years old. She was rubbing her pregnant belly and looking at me by the time I was graduating primary school. I did not grow up to be some kind of sex maniac. A female friend of mine might say differently.

20 years of age is 2 or 3 years beyond what people consider adulthood. 16 years of age is considered old enough. I don't think that females should lose their virginity before the age of 16. And 16 is a bit young to be having sex, anyway -- legal as it is.
