A tale of the sea

I’m going to tell you a tale about a bloke who was an old sea dog

So yer see one day he was out fishin by the cold grey sea when this strange fog began to roll in. It was a real pea souper and like nothing he’d ever seen before, but he heard tales of such a fog and he knew you don’t want to be caught in it, on land or sea. Now this fog was indeed a weird one and it wasn’t quite as low as the sea, I reckon about 3 foot off it and same when it rolled across the land, it was about 3 foot off the land too.
So when it rolled in, our old sea dog ducked down low enough so the fog didn’t touch him. He ducked the fog as hard as he could and he ducked it and ducked it until it went away.

Our old sea dog was so glad the evil fog didn’t get him so he went to the local tavern, where he was very well known for an ale or 10.
He told his mates about the fog and how he ducked it, and from that day onward, in his tavern, and his town and across the entire wide green land, he was known as the fog ducker.
