Being A CEO in Trump's Retard Land
Aug 19th, 2019 at 11:53pm

...
"This pile of crap? I wouldn't drive it myself."

Remember this twatwaffle? Of course you don't. That's Mary Barra the current CEO of GM. She was the one that stated back in November GM would close five plants in the United States and Canada which would lead to 6,000 layoffs, including the closure of the Detroit Hamtramck and Warren Transmission auto plants in the Metro Detroit area.

Barra soon followed this with a massive downsizing among her white-collar employees, leading to the loss of 8,000 jobs.

GM's profits last year amounted to $10.8 billion which was more than enough to pay the annual wages of some 300,000 new-hire employees. Barra had other ideas and  carried out mass layoffs taking the money sweated out of workers and funneling it into the pockets of GM executives and shareholders.

Strange when the F A T orange puke says the "economy is doing great" he's not kidding when every dollar stolen from workers through pay cuts and layoffs goes to pay for stock buybacks, financial speculation and the yachts and mansions of the corporate executives and the billionaire capitalists whose interests they represent.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/podcasts/post-reports/from-22-an-hour-to-11-what-...

And it's not only Mary "Twatwaffle" Barry, Ford CEO Jim Hackett got $17.8 million in compensation last year, while FCA CEO Mike Manley stands to make as much as $14 million in the coming year. Matthew Simoncini, the CEO of auto parts maker Lear, was paid over $32.4 million, up by 14 percent over the past year.

Oh, and on a side note who here can also remember when the F A T orange puke said he was going to "bring back steel"? Turns out  US Steel CEO David B. Burritt, who was paid over $11 million last year, has just announced hundreds of layoffs with the idling of U.S. Steel’s blast furnace in Ecorse, Michigan - you know, that same blast furnace the F A T orange puke said was "up and running again." Why doesn't he talk about it now. I do wonder.

Good ol' capitalism, it's outdated profit system must be destroyed and replaced with a socialist society based on equality, proper international planning and democratic control of production and distribution.

Then again, seeing how every politicians both Demo and Rethugo serve the best of Wall Street  I don't see that happening any time soon while what's left of America's declining auto industry rots.

Have a nice day.

Socialism doesnt work, it never will. Doesnt matter what you do, someone always ends up with a bigger pile of marbles than others. Read a book about a POW camp called "King Rat", it illustrates this point perfectly. Theres always a top dog and a hierarchy.

Yep, we are not equal. Some work harder, some have particular interests, talents and others are gifted innovators.

America is a very successful country. Why? Because it has the freedom for the individual to explore his talents. The more top heavy a system is, such as in socialism - the more control which crushes individual thinking and results in less innovation. Thus that system is doomed.

All progress depends on the individual - always has been and always will be.

Communism/Socialism re-branded will never work in the long term, no matter how many you murder.

Are you sure you're a young woman from Colorado mala
Because your post sound like an angry 60 year old male Marxist
Because you seem a lot better versed in socio-political belief systems then one would expect for a young woman
Lol lol lol

But be that as it may your example shows exactly why capitalism works
GM are cutting corners and maximizing short-term profit
Won't work
Everybody around the world kNOWS GM products are now pure garbage
Transmissions fall apart
Check out the resale on Chevys over 5 years old
Unhappy workers produce garbage products
Gm's profits will fall
Consumers won't buy it
Good riddance to bad rubbish

Compare that to a successful capitalist company
Honda and Toyota which are both extremely profitable
Run forever
Virtually zero recalls
People keep coming back and buying them over and over again
Management employees get on well
Seriously in America the staff from the Toyota company
The management and the workers all used to go on holidays together

This is why capitalism just producers such massive wealth
Because the most productive elements of society
Are allowed to grow and grow
And the garbage companies end up at the garbage dump

The consumer can price everything
Corollas and Honda civics sell for weigh more then nizsan & GM products

How did this work in a socialist country
at the height of the Russian failed experiment
The central Soviet was having 2 price 10000 items a day
How can you price something
You can't

You let it go out to market
A consumer arranges the products into a hierarchy
A meritocracy
And the cream rises to the top

There is simply no better system than this
Ask your pals in Venezuela

not the way YOU think of it. Your idea of socialism is essentially communism - an epic fail if ever there was one. The MIXED economy is how it works well - a capitalist economic system with socialism added in to help spread the wealth. Like here in australia...

BTW... the drugs you crave arent free in EITHER system

But I agree socialism doesn't work, but only if you take here whereby people confuse socialism and communism.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

The only people who actually want socialism are the Conservatives.

They want the Dems to actually campaign for Socialism and introduce that as their platform, but not even the AOCs of the world are advocating for that.

So all that's left is the Conservatives to lie about the Dems platform and call it socialism because the truth is the policies that the Dems do support like their healthcare reforms for example actually have broad public support so the Conservatives can't combat that, so they lie.

America will always be a capitalist powerhouse, the only changes will be what is done with taxpayers dollars.

Policies with a social consideration are not socialism.  If those complaining about it even knew what socialism was they'd know that's not what the Democrats or even the progressives are talking about, or they do know and are lying, as usual.

Trump's America.  If you can't be better, lie about your opposition.
