Hmmm ... fires up and down the Eastern seaboard..... bomb hoax in Lismore and a bomb in Murwillumbah....... are we in some kind of WAR?

Gave Lismore High kids and Uni students a break. Silver lining to every dark cloud.
Kids used to do that when I was as school, someone playing hooky giving their class some time out. It's taken on a whole new level of seriousness these days.

Apparently the bomb in 'Willum' was for real... any updates?

The Indigenous Australians did not clear the entire continent.  The Multi-nationals don't care that their fire clearing is polluting the planet and making it likely that Global Warming is much more likely to accelerate and become worse, Hammer.   Roll Eyes

How controlled was the burning in a drought ridden country with temperatures regularly over 100°?

The story so far: the land was invaded by invaders in chains and their guards, these invaders in chains actually thought they had made some great discovery e.g., the missing link between ape and man. The reason they believed this to be the case was because our aboriginal people were still at least 40 - 45000 years behind the invaders in chains evolutionary progress.

Now jump forward another couple of hundred years and we have the loony leftards claiming that these supposed links between the ape and man had magic plows which did not need an animal to pull them, the people who were 45000 years behind the times actually had another power, they could make bushfires very manageable without once again, any tools which would have to be used in the control of bushfires.

They were magical farmers and fire fighters using the secret skills and tools of civilization 45000 years ago.

Your RACISM and BIGOTRY is showing, Moses.  Get back to us when you've come up with something more plausible supported by evidence as good as the Agriculture is.  You know, the records left in the journals written by early explorers and settlers?  Tsk, tsk.  Roll Eyes

Your emotional incontinence has just hit the fan, Bwian, and your idiocy is everywhere!!!

It's now multinational companies that start bushfires, not pimply youths?? Bwian, you are the Greta Thunberg of Ozpol.  Aborigines burning down the joint and hunting to extinction Australia's mega-fauna = sophisticated agricultural practices.  Anyone else starting a bushfire just like the Abos did  =  evil multinational stooge of global incineration.

Should make Oz Day an annual re-enactment - chained convicts storming the beaches, overcoming Aboriginal trenches and fortifications... blockhouses leveled by the guns of the Royal Navy... then the horror camps and 'ethnic cleansing' that resulted in there being no Aboriginals left today....

... wait a minute... Igor.. send a message to my writers... can that last byte......... doesn't add up in reality...... now - what did they call Aboriginal paratroopers?  Not AirPollution, was it?

(hums) ......'once they were Koori but now they're Airborne, jumping from boomerangs battered and worn... their chutes second-hand and the canopies torn.. and the shroud lines all rotted away... They flew through the air ..... with the greatest of ease..."

His ignorance more like it.
Aboriginals didn't need to 'plough' (Seneschal  Grin) the ground to reap food. The ground they had 'fertile' already for their foods to produce.
You only need a plough - when the soil is compacted hard by the 'Hooved' animal.

So I ask all the Anti-Aboriginal experts here.
Being so smart n' all.  Roll Eyes

WHY THEN, DID THE ABORIGINAL PEOPLES 'NOT' PROGRESS BEYOND THE SO-CALLED STONE AGE
(although they were far more advanced than the white versions)?
...why the progression and then 'stop' like a stagnation of development (even though the Didgeridoo is only 6,000 years old)?
What is it that made them the way they are and to be dismissed in all manners by invading other peoples?

...was it the trees?
