What a despicable thing to do.

Guess they found out that nobody would go otherwise. It was force the employees to turn up or issue high viz jackets to Crickets.

There is a little more to the story.  Nobody was forced to go, but, given they were considering the day a "training day" and Trump considered a guest speaker, those who went and signed in with their ID would have been paid to attend.

If you wanted the full day's pay including accruing the full overtime benefits, you had to attend.  Anyone who didn't want to attend would have to take an excused, but non-paid, absence.

Those who were in attendance were forbidden from protesting, however.

So if you wanted a full days pay, you were forced to attend.

Different, an important distinction, especially in a district that voted heavily against Trump in the mid-terms compared to the 2016 election but still an instance of a crowd needing to be paid to attend a Trump rally.

Anyone who didn't want to attend would have to take an excused, but non-paid, absence.

On the face of it yes but often the reality is that the management team will consider these people do not fit the company's culture and will be on the skids on the way out the door. Many who attended will have been aware that the reality is that they had no option if they wanted to keep their job.

in all seriousness, chodes need to "get around success".

the average chode should find a rich successful happy person and offer to take them out for the most expensive steak and then just try to study their energy.

I could pay with the few thousand dollars from the Trump speech and would still need that mask.

“Your attendance is not mandatory,” one manager told workers,  summarizing a memo that Shell sent to union leaders, the Post-Gazette  reported, but only those who showed up at 7 a.m., scanned their ID cards and prepared to stand for hours through lunch would be paid.

“No scan, no pay,” workers were warned.

So much for that Murican: “FreedDumb of choice”

Reeks more of a union local with no smacking balls at all full of management’s cucks.

you have to get back in touch with reality.
he's in the oval office.
its just cognitive dissonance to say he is an omega , by the definition of the political hierachy itself .

the dude is at the top of the dominance hierachy.

i could go to the CEO of macdonalds corporation and tell him my wife can cook a better meal and he's just a fraud.

doesnt matter.

the USA is a market driven society.
"the customer is always right".
the customer votes for big macs and big donald.

they are at the pinnacle.

now you can get mad at the american public and call them dumb and ignorant and fat and unhealthy.

but it may be better to try to build rapport and show them a better way.

but that requires a lot of work, a lot of discipline, a lot of effort, a lot of emotional mastery.

and the left just cant do it  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
i think thats the key observation here.

the laziness of the left who just find it easier to throw their toys out of the pram and have a tantrum.

and THATS what makes THEM at the bottom of the hierachy

True. But there is an alternative way and he is in the White House: inherit it all from a father who cheated the government to make a fortune. Trump isn't a self-made man. He isn't a successful businessman. He is a B-level celebrity but not one of the Ronald Reagan variety who entered politics and made a life for himself. No, he is closer to Howard Hughes than anyone, a man who inherited everything he had and thus started out at the top.

Could be the case aia

It's obvious that enormous numbers of people from the left hate trump with a passion.

When you truly truly deeply deeply hate someone the first place you should check is the mirror

Is my resentment and hatred due to jealousy
Is it hard for my ego to accept that this person has achieved something which I feel I I should have been able to achieve because I'm more talented than him

I truly believe this is the case

When people see someone who is or has something they would like and especially if that person does not appear to have any particular talon it really gets in deep

It really touches a nerve with mofos

That's incredibly confronting for someone to admit to themselves
Most people would never have the courage to do that

But if you're feeling resentment and you're feeling hate it's often a good idea to try and understand where that's coming from
It will probably take you to dark places
Places you don't want to go
Because it will rock and shake the very foundations of your identity

Every trait he displays is that of an Omega desperate to climb the ranks but doesn't have it in him.

The lies, the reality distortion, the taken credit for others work, the shirking of responsibility, the petty childish attacks, the paying women to sleep with him, he brags about being intellectually superior to others, when he's not, the twitter meltdowns, all he's missing is a neckbeard...

He might be the President, but he's still an Omega...

All of his success is despite himself.  If he didn't have daddy's money and the constant bailouts of friends and family he's be nothing.

Never forget that.

You worship an Omega...

Does your sage advice apply to Trump himself, a man seemingly full of hate?

It's interesting you say that
Maybe I just see things differently
When I see someone like Rachel maddow
I see genuine hate and seething rage

When I see trump talking
I just see some dude his opening his mouth
The wind is blowing and his tongue is flapping and all sorts of garbage is coming out

I just see an unfiltered guy who really doesn't care much about much
I honestly don't think he's a hater
I think he's a bit of a stirrer
I think he loves the limelight
I think he's got a big ego
I think he loves to be the centre of attention
But I honestly don't think he hates
He's too busy dealing with all these other weird personality traits Grin Grin

Lock her up ?

So you are saying that though he specialises in triggering hate in others he does not feel it himself.

His regular twitter melt downs would seem to refute that as well as his expressed passion in speeches like the "Lock her up" rhetoric / tactic.

I have found that people who appear to be nasty to the core usually are.
