Trump and Greenland
Aug 17th, 2019 at 6:05pm

It has been reported over the last day or so that el Presidente Trump wants the US to purchase Greenland from Denmark.   However, Denmark and the Greenlanders have refused.   It isn't the first time that the US has offered to buy Greenland,  with the first offer dating back to 1868, under Secretary of State Seward who also contemplated purchasing Iceland.  US again looked at buying Greenland in 1946 for $100Million. Denmark turned down the offer.

Trump is certifiably crazy.

The US bought Alaska from the Russkies for $7 million. Greenland is closer to the US than to Denmark.

Trump isn't looney.
Greenland is in the North American 'region' of the world.
Not in Europe's.
You can tell that Denmark is in denial as it calls an icy land Green and a greener, less icy land 'Ice'land.  Roll Eyes

North America is just basically saying that Greenland belongs to North America and not Europe, but they are willing to fairly 'buy' it, rather than forcibly take it or just inherit it from a far poorer and weaker nation like Denmark.
Buying Iceland is a bit far fetched though. But sometimes far-fetched red herrings gain something less by default.
The Azorres are really in the middle of the Atlantic and are very much shared by North America & Europe these days, even though owned by Portugal.
Hawaii seeks independence from the USA as it believes it is more a part of Oceania than North America ...and they are right. Asia & North America seem to just give them grief.  Roll Eyes

The world was a very different place when that occurred, Soren.  Today, the inhabitants of Greenland have a say in who runs their country.  They don't want Washington with el Presidente in charge.   Roll Eyes

I find it ironic that you think the people of Greenland itself deserve to have a 'say', when they are still 'dependent' on Denmark.
The people of Greenland will always be dependent on other nations for want of falling into 'pathetic' like Pitcairn Islanders. By still being dependent on Denmark, they are in essence, very much 'Danish'.

Do you think the Falkland Islanders would have much of a say 'independently' beyond Argentinian or British views?

I reckon the Media just doesn't want to acknowledge that there would be many Greenlanders who would like to become 'more North American', than their Danish European.
Maybe if Hillary or Obama said they want to buy Greenland - things might be different in view of the Media.  Roll Eyes

If Denmark wanted to sell it the people who live there would have no say in the matter. Who has surveyed the 56,000 people who live there for their opinion, just for the record. After examining the possibilities it could be a winner for all involved.

Asking Canada if they would like to join us could benefit both sides also! The United States of North America sounds a lot better than The United Socialist States of America!

You are absolutely right with that (highlight).
But Canada could never become part of the USA.
It would mean the 'Upper Class' would cease to exist, as would the 'Lower Class' of Mexico. As you can see - the USA is just a middle-class quality of life.

Many Australians don't really buy into being 'down under' the USA like some lower class. We tend to think of the USA (Canada & Mexico too) as being 'back there' at the 'End of the World' (Last in Line).  Wink Grin

trump is playing the game  of politics.
its a very similar game to the game of television.

trumps needs votes
on the apprentice he needed "ratings'.

politics has become 'entertainment".
commeth the man, commeth the hour.
trump knows that circuses like this keep all the chodes talking about him.essentially chodes like brain are acting as piblicity agents for the superior intellect.

if chodes like brian shut up, trump would get no publicity, the american public would get bored and toss him aside like a failed tv show.

but thats not the case.

trump 'rates"

he has transferred his skills from the apprentice to the oval office and has dominated his opponents who still dont get it.

every day, its the nodding heads of the left (people essentially like brain and gweg and skippy and abu) going

trump, trump, trump, donald trump, donald trump, trump trump.

the population are just saturated by this.

it seems deep into them
it becomes part of their ecosystem.

you try to take trump away now and they will go into withdrawal.

heres a fact, over a third of americans cant even be bothered voting in an election.
they couldnt be bothered queueing to vote.

they will queue at maccas for a burger
they will queue for an nfl game
they will queue at the movies to see fast and the furious.

trump wants people to see him in that frame.

he couldnt do it without the publicity agents who work for him.

greg, abu, brian, skippy and the entire staff of cnn and msnbc.

stormy daniels lawyer was interviewed on cnn 67 times so far.
thats the sort of publicity for trump that he has engineered.

pure, absolute domination and pure genius.

There is some truth in what you write but there are other factors at play as well: many voters are tired of hearing about Trump, otherwise known as "Trump fatigue" (a new play on the old sentiment "familiarity breeds contempt") and many, many young people are NOT buying Trump's BS at all.

Trump said something stupid and now people are trying to defend that.

This has become so normal, nobody cares anymore.

The only brilliatnt politics here is the game his handlers and spin teams need to play to keep the dullards thinking he's playing 4D chess.

They're just lucky that we're all so bombarded with the stupid things he says and does, or the countless numbers of lies he tells that we can't keep up, we can analyse a single talking point in the depth it's needed because he said or done another 10 stupid things before the 1st has had a chance to run it's course.

Seriously, does anyone remember the stupid things he said before Epstein?  Are we even talking about Epstein anymore?

Has the Storm been and gone?

Trump is just a chaingun of stupidity and disappointment.

Healthcare, is that bigger better everyone has coverage plans in place yet?  No?  He just gave up because it got too hard?

Yeah...

It's not good politics, it's just bad politics that nobody has any expectations left.

His supporters, rather than relying on abject reality or even what they experience in their day to day life, they rely on Trump's version of events.  If he says he's Made America Great Again, that's all they need to hear.

It doesn't matter if they're almost killed by a stampede of terrified people because a car backfired or trade wars have crippled the industry they've been in for generations and they're having to sell their farm, Trump said it so it must be true.

Again, not good politics by Trump, but his handlers deserve some credit.

But if this continues once Trump is out of office, be it next year or another 4, this is very bad news for the US.  This means all their policy decisions will continue to have no basis in reality and nobody will care.

"very bad news for the US".

again, you have to understand that people vote their "pyschology" and not their "logic".

the citizens of america circa 2019 are NOT the same citizens that built the juggernaut "USA".

i would imagine there are people on the left who feel they are the beneficiaries of "white priveldge" and would be pyshcologically open to the US getting some "bad news".

and i would imagine there are many other people who are in very low vibration energy.
they are fat, lazy stupid and the they know it.

or they have gotten cash and all that capitalism promised them and they are STILL nihilistic and lost.

the recent shootings are a case in point.

the country isnt really the positive joyful place it should be
(ingratitude has a lot to do with that).

so with both the left and the right feeling sad, angry, and negatively neurotic, IT MAKES SENSE that telling them that trump is going to wreck the joint IS NOT GOING TO WORK.

because people vibe with their emotional set point.
they are feeling bad and they vibe with a bit of self destruction.

i know this.
i try to promote a message of gratitude, self confidence, assertiveness and awesomeness and people have  visceral reaction of disgust at that message.

do you understand why they might vote for trump , because they think thats what they deserve

You can travel into the Past where Globalisation is a world that has no borders, is just one nation called Gaea (Gay-Yah) and is an existence of the most highest class and quality of 'living'.
Or you can travel into the future where a world becomes bordered by 8 Regions and those Regions are bordered (like fractures in an egg shell) into a Group of Many Nations and each one of those Nations are bordered into States, Provinces, Shires, Territories, Parks, Reserves, Wildlings, Kingdoms, Empires, Companies, Corporations (like the Corporation of 'Silicon Valley'), Federations, Republics, Democracies, Communes, Collectives, Partitions, Councils, Cities, Towns, Villages, Homesteads and... The USA is being 'forced' to take them in because of their 'abuse'.

But then again, that's how 'revenge' is carried out against the White Race that came from a little pocket of the world and thinking it so 'Superior', until it saw that the entire rest of the world was covered by 'Darkies' of various Tints. Like a virgin girl, the White Race was deflowered with this realisation as it due to her 'jealous God' nature. It's only because of 'women' that the White Race progresses into the future and thus becomes more 'feminised' like a white dove of peace and love with its ever decreasing population of males and their 'Science of Intellectual Superiority' creating the surgical and medical ability to change their sex and appearance into 'female' (Trans-gender).

Black Groom.

So why claim that hes crazy for something that you understand nothing about? You just gobble up the latest news story from a frenzied fake news and regurgitate it - not to bright.

I suspect that there are some very good reasons, one maybe the strategic value of Greenland.

Try thinking before making another post.

Some of Trump's supporters are hailing it as a strategic geopolitical idea. But what good is it? Why not just ask if the US can buy Canada and Mexico? Or the UK? Or AUS and NZ?

Denmark can't afford Greenland much anyway.
It has no real Economic strategic benefit to Denmark,
more just a money-pit of funding the lifestyle of the Greenies that would equate to something like the Mt Druitt Houso area of Sydney. Occassionally a visiting team of Scientists and the odd BBC doco film crew.

At least Trump asked and offered rather than take it like some Falkland Islands.

It's not the first time Greenland has been sought to be bought, so it isn't a Trump thing (nor was the Wall).

Geographically, it could come under Canada's jurisdiction.
It lacks any real ability to be self-dependent and would ask for 'Aid' from countries like the USA, Canada, etc anyway - often.
It's only luxury it would have being Independent, is that no-one really would bother to invade it anyway. I hear the Brothels there are popular though.

Cannot believe people are trying to support Trump on this insulting offer.

Besides the USA are in debt by more than the USA is worth. Where are they going to get a loan to pay for something like Greenland?

Who in their right mind would do any type of property deal with Trump, he never pays his debts.

Do you know the reason why Trump wants to purchase Greenland? No!

So why claim that hes crazy for something that you understand nothing about? You just gobble up the latest news story from a frenzied fake news and regurgitate it - not to bright.

I suspect that there are some very good reasons, one maybe the strategic value of Greenland.

Try thinking before making another post.

Nailed it Rich.

Brian, Kanga-nong, Weekend etc all just "Blurt Out"
fake News Narrative
and they don't even know why.

Trump just doesn't "Say Stuff" for no reason unlike our forum dummies.

Do your history Folks. That way you won't keep looking like "Nongs" every day when you regurgitate Fake News  Roll Eyes

What is "fake" about my post, Mechie?

Are you denying that Trump offered to purchase Greenland from Denmark?

Are you denying that the US has made such offers in the past?

Are you denying that the Danes and the Greenlanders refused the US offers?

Looks to me like you're the one who is offered fake news, mate, not me.  Tsk, tsk.   Roll Eyes

What are you talking about "Cods"?

Who denied that TRUMP said he offered to buy Greenland?

Once again, like a weasel, you try to shift the "Narrative" of what was actually said.

The last time I called you out on this you disappeared out of the thread.

The Narrative being - "Trump wants to buy Greenland, He's Crazy  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy"

But you knew that, and now you are trying to "Weasel" your way out of it now that you realise that you've put your foot fair and square in your mouth.

Now that bullshit of the fake news Trump must be crazy is out of the way folks have actually had a look into this and realise that he's 100% right.

Greenland has massive Strategic capacity.

how do we know?

America has been operating there for decades

See iceworm project.
See C_A transferring prisoners of war 2011.
See C_A spying 2013.
See China proposed building new airports and mining facilities on Greenland in 2018.
See President Trumans plans to buy Iceland.
See Iceland resources.
See Iceland and shipping lanes.

Some of the folks on this forum are utterly stupid - Maxine Waters Stupid.

They run around like Henny Penny each time the Fake News Media farts and Mockingbird everything they say without actually understanding why.

Blah Blah BLah Blah  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

and they end up looking like fools every single time.  Roll Eyes

You claimed I had posted "fake news", Mechie.  Now, lets see you prove that what I posted was "fake".  Ball is now in your court or will you disappear again like you usually do, hey?   Roll Eyes

No I did not Redneck.

Stop Lying please.  Roll Eyes

See above, Mechie.  You claimed I had posted "fake news".  I see no evidence of that.  So, as you've thus far failed to explain your comment, it appears you are just bullshitting.  Tsk, tsk.   Roll Eyes

I wont mention the charge, but he went missing from here for 6 months while he was in prison. He naturally doesnt want to talk about it, especially the 'list' he is now on.

You realise you can't just call someone "lying <name>", you don't have braindead supporters like Trump.

Or, are you going to play the semantics game where you've clearly made a specific point or claim, been called out on in and walked it back by claiming because you've not used the specific language you're demanding those quote of you verbatim, that it didn't happen?

You yawn way too much dude

For anyone climbing the narrow road to success
High vibration energy
Busting through barriers
Getting down elbows deep in the mud
Extreme ownership
Maximum personal responsibility

These things lead one to lead a supercharged life

Yawning is just really bad for you physiologically
Stand-up straight with your shoulders back
Try to be strong powerful influential aspirational

It's time to kiss goodbye is yawning addiction

Try to be more trump like in your demeanor

Indeed blah blah blah

Trump tweets about Greenland
But he does it for the benefit of trump
It's just an awesome dude expressing himself
He does not give a frig what long weekend thinks

Same with myself
We are so over flowing with positive high vibration energy
It just comes out of us

Mediocre men like yourself need to learn to be more at the action and not at the reaction

The true masculine is always emitting positive energy just like the sun
You are more of the feminine persuasion
You are penetrated by our energy

Man up
Grow a spine
Be like trump and say whatever you want
And don't give a toss what the beta males think Grin Grin
