Mary was supposed to be fifteen - an age back then when a girl was a woman, and was often married by thirteen.

You simply can't make such comparisons with the conditions of modern day advanced Western civilisation, with a much higher life expectancy and a requirement for a more stable and settled environment to raise children - even if a significant portion of the world's human population still consider that thirteen is an acceptable age.

We Of The West spent centuries developing these standards, and they have worked well for the West and its population - generally - now you want to throw us back into the pre-dark Ages?

An old German neighbour once said that children are born animals and it was our job as parents to civilise them. Now I see this same thing attempted on a global scale with the absorption of the comparative children of this Earth under our civilised umbrella - and it will not work.

No matter how hard it tries - the West will NOT civilise the rest ..... but it can raise them to the level where they can harm the West.... and then the West will lower itself to their level to retaliate.

Best to leave them to their own ways and let them self-destruct.
