Any sensible replies ?
Fender electric guitars are not the greatest achievement in human history.

2nd ?

More seriously Les Pauls music industry inventions were outstanding including a co inventor of the electric guitar and multi track recording.

The Insulin Pump, Cochlear Implants, Prosthetic Limbs, Modern Tires, Useable Solar Cells,  Memory Foam,  Better Water Filters, Insulation, Anti-Scratch Coating.

Cameras that were developed small enough to go on a space craft are now used in mobile phones ?

The digital imaging developed for space travel was further developed to do things like cat scans.

Space suite development is used in shoe design - Nike air.

The device developed to pick up moon samples it now sold as a dust buster.

The ear thermometer.

The Jaws of life is a usage of technology used to separate space shuttle components.

Wireless headphones were developed to allow astronauts to work hands free.

freeze dried food, Baby formula, the computer mouse, the portable computer etc.

Thanks -
India is getting right into Moon exploration:

Leo and Les were two of the best.

Their inventions have provided more enjoyment, for more people, than any astronaut ever has.

Two guitarists a drummer and a singer does not compare to a symphony orchestra, its just a tribal fad, Buzz and Neil beat any rock star.

I looked up the Apollo 11 documentary online. There was no sessions for the documentary. And I am glad that I looked it up online. 93 minutes of epic history for the moon landing. The pictures were as good as you would expect for a 1969 footage of the mission.

I have meant to look at all the documentaries. But I have been distracted by other things.

Come on people.
The Moon missions gave us 100s
if not 1000s of new technologies.
It kick started integrated circuits
which is the electronics backbone
of almost every modern product today.
It changed all of our lives forever.

I think the Korean or Vietnam war gave us superglue (?).

It was used to seal up open wounds in the battlefield.

Your life has been completely changed by it.
Maybe you wouldn't have a computer to
be able to post here without the
giant leap in technology that happened
as a result of the Moon program.
