I kind of like Joe Biden.
I actually think he would have been a good president

I think he is probably one of the few democrats who could take out Trump at the next election

How does the masterful Donald neutralise this threat

Donald knows that the best way to take out Biden is to have the democrats do it for him
Joe Biden is old he is white he is male he is heterosexual

Cunning Donald thinks
If I can stir the democratic pot and sew dissent amongst them this is my best strategy

What is the opposite of a white old patriarchal heterosexual mail who has been in power for many years

It is a young black deranged female who has just arrived on the scene
Someone like AOC and the squad.

By probing their weaknesses and getting the democrats to circle the wagons around the squad Trump effectively newters Joe Biden

AOC isn't running for president. Republicans play identity politics better than the Democrats. Are you blind to what is going on right now? White nationalism is identity politics.

That being said, the Dems will probably go with the safe choice, Biden, and lose to Trump. You give Trump too much credit for being "tactical." There is no proof that he is at all, unless you consider pandering to people's baser natures "tactical." That is a short-term strategy at best.

I agree, Aquascoot, but if I was cunning Donald I'd say, we'll let our army of spammers and Russian bots take care of this. Direct the spam with a couple of words, like creepy Joe. Watch the photoshopped memes and fake news fly. Will it work as a strategy for 2020?

If things get tight, he'll need a bit more, dear. A Biden rape case would be good. Those actresses usually fold, so you'd need a victim under lock and key, somewhere like North Korea. Maybe Kim will get on board. Putin's definitely up for it.

Well I did say that in the future there will be two types of politicians.
Those who understand social media and those who lose

Greg thought it was hilarious that a president would be on Twitter
Personally I thought it was a master stroke

I think Donald is terrified of coming up against a white heterosexual mail who is of a similar age and who unlike Donald has mastered his emotions and speaks a lot of common sense

The Donald would much rather come up against a crazy Bernie Sanders
Or Pocahontas or one of the squad

And by playing identity politics
Trump is forcing the dems to match him in this area

Trump needs the dams to call non racists racist

Good point. And the best way to get the dems to call you racist is to be as racist as possible.

Sending congreswomen BACK TO WHERE THEY CAME FROM is a good start, but cunning Donald's going to have to push a few more buttons to really get them to play the racist card.

Could he use the N word, do you think? Praise white supremacists? Support changes that prevent black voter registration? Crack down on Hispanic illegals?

He's done all this, of course, but can't he just ramp it right up? What if he just ADMITS to being racist?

That could work, shurely.

It's funny to read people who think Trump has some 'cunning strategy'. He has no strategy at all. The reason he has failed at EVERY business he has run is that he has no idea of planning or strategy. He has the attention span of a goldfish and an IQ to match. A smart pollie would never attack 4 brown americans in such a racist way. A smart person would know that it would instantly unite the democrats. A strategic thinker would know that while it would please his racist base, it would further alienate everyone else. And he needs more than his base to get re-elected. a LOT more.

Trump is a very stupid person - that is obvious. But any decision or choice he makes at any time, is based on his thinking over no more than that last 90 seconds.

It is interesting that Trump supporters take the line about creepy perverts, they don't care about Trump's perversions or the things he's said about dating his own daughter, or the sex parties he went to with Epstein etc...

It just seems like the rules need to be made up on the fly in order to attack Trump's enemies yet the same people ignore them when those rules apply equally, if not more, to Trump.

Who's mad? Mr Trump is the most entitled person in the room. He's had everything handed to him. He's never had to work too hard at anything, not through any superior intelligence or skill, just his father's money and political contacts.

Here is the dynamic in a nutshell

Trump is always at the action
Trump does outrageous things but it is always Trump doing the doing

Anybody who reacts to that is at the reaction
You may have very legitimate reasons to react but you are still being reactive

To your average citizen the person at the action is the leader

And the person at the reaction is being LED

It does not matter what Trump does
It only matters that he does something which makes his opponents react
You react you lose
You react you are dominated
The voters aren't thinking about this deeply
They are just picking up on my vibe

And Trump never reacts
He if he does react does so by doubling down and creating a whole new power display

They react to his tweets
If he wants to react to something they have done
He just starts a new tweet

The left need 2GO radio silent on him
But they just can't help themselves

I think the way he handles them is masterful
You could spend 5 years analysing how Trump dominates the narrative and it will be 5 years well-spent

Now don't come back at me with some argument about logic and truth
People are not logical
People are full of self deception
