Racist Beaches the sequel
Jul 16th, 2019 at 9:00pm

In Racist Beaches (#1)

...there is a prominent view that you have to be 'Black' to be Aboriginal.

This is a flawed point.

You didn't have to be looking like an Italian to be a 'Roman' and you don't have to be 'White' to be British.

Rome was more than a 'race' as it was populated from peoples around the world.

Even the Picts of Scotland didn't fight against 'Italian' Romans.

So lets just say that an Aboriginal can be Blonde hair, blue eyes or even Yellow.
Being Aboriginal is a way of life - a 'culture'.

Yes they did, that's the point of Hadrian's Wall. Although by that time much of the Roman army was not Italian or Roman(until they finished their 25 years of service), they were drawn from all over the empire and were always posted away from their homelands, for good reason.

So you are saying we can all be Aboriginals?

How exciting - so anyone can just be anything?

Why don't our Niggrahs just be Australians if they want to live in Rome and do as the Romans do?  I mean they do live here, don't they?

I'll bet the Koons living in Rome were lining up for Roman citizenship, but we offer them everything else....

Politics of Division, innit?   Cool

Maybe we could do a movie.... Aboriginal surfer champion meets pretty white girl at party where he's allowed in on sufferance and by invitation of her then boyfriend, a rich guy and fellow surfer, who hates him for being so successful ...... after a few ups and downs they get together .... loses white girl due to discrimination and her rich uncle holding the purse strings and the pressures of his job on the international surfing circuit.... you'll marry that rich white boy I had picked out for you with the Rolls Royce surfboard, not that trash he invited to that party .... girl comes to her senses, defies her rich, patriarchal uncle, rejects her trust fund, and comes back when surfer has a fall on a coral reef and battles with a shark and is down and out, and assists him to get back on board, sticking by him as he trains and trains to get fit and ready again to conquer the surfing world, he wins the world title and all is happy ever after as they live happily in his surfer van ... true love rules the waves....

All believable apart from the girl rejecting money and a rich boy ..... and the standing by your man bit.. more standing on him in all likelihood...

Here is a simple suggestion.

If you wish to partake of the welfare system.
If you wish to utilise the benefits of civilized white society
If you wish to be given respect afforded you as a citizen.

You must
Abide by the laws
Treat others and their property with respect
Share what you have with Australian citizens.

If not
Then go your own way, without welfare, without aid, without the benefits of civilization.
Seems easy to me.

But then, I'm not a greedy, lazy, primitive beggar.

British are not white but English are.
"British nation" is just another artificial imperial construct.

Not if you are a busking aboriginal dance troupe.  I am sure that the tourists on seeing fat white men, jiggling to a creation story must be thinking, someone is taking the piss.  Cheesy

I always get a bit of a giggle when I see Abos shuffling around with all that "paint" on them - "dancing".  They should take note of the Maori and try to look "fierce".  A few face and neck tatts might help.  Grin

Keloidal scars were Aboriginal tattoos.

You should get some.

Raven is prone to agree with you.

Raven is considered an Aboriginal in the wider community in which he grew up even though Raven is 100% White.

Due to certain circumstances Raven was raised in a predominantly aboriginal community.

However Raven is only considered an Aboriginal in this community, should he go to the south west or Queensland he would not be considered as such.

People with aboriginal blood are a bit different, as an old aunty once said "it doesn't matter how much milk you add to your tea, it's still tea."

The majority of aboriginal people consider a person with aboriginal blood an Aboriginal. It doesn't matter if you are fair skinned.

Aboriginal people hate the terms "half-caste" "quarter-caste" "quadroon." It's demeaning to them. For two hundred years they watched as their population dwindled but then saw an increase in mixed blood children. In them they saw an opportunity, a voice. Someone who can walk between two worlds, someone who has a better chance to advocate for aboriginal people.

Being aboriginal is more then the colour of your skin, it's about kinship and heritage.

I get many Aboriginals asking me if I'm Aboriginal because of my 'fellow Australian' disposition to them. My siblings are 'dark', my skin is light.
At Scotts Heads, my siblings would blacken in the summer sun as kids and the well meaning protective local 'Boong' (actual surname) kids would chase me into the shade for my own good because I blistered after just 15mins in the summer sun.

I'm with Raven on this. I for one, thought him as Aborginal - by blood, because his connection with his local Aboriginals is strong.

Take into account - all you need to be an 'American' is a Green Card and paperwork, not 'blood'.

If Australia becomes a Republic and the Republic proves itself to go forward into the future. Being British, Aboriginal or any other 'multi-cultural' expression might be something of an 'outer' (like Native American or African American - two that 'detach' themselves from mainstream Americans) compared to the 'Republicans'.
But currently, British, USA (Unionists), Aboriginal and Multi-Cultural are the 'empowered' as Politics here is only like a 'Renter' (not an owner) that is here by default of Britain & the USA.

As long as Australia remains a British colony genocide on Aboriginal people will continue.
After all this genocide wasn't done by Australians but by British convicts, their Yobbo ancestors and Anglo migrants.
What does it have to do Italian, Greek or Chinese migrant population with this horrific crime?.
Don't forget that British Queen as Australian colonial head of state has never apologised for that genocide.

Half castes, quarter castes  & quadroons & less hate the terms.

They are what they are, people of mixed race.

I was on a property in the Gulf near Doomadgee 25 years ago & one of the Aboriginal stockmen there told me/us that he was referred to as a Yellow fella by full blood tribal people & was often ostracised by other skin groups.

And he was a black enough fella for me not to think he wasn't Aboriginal.

Just because you have a touch of a different race in your background doesn't make you singularly that race or culture.

Especially if you've never really been bought up in said culture.

And what about the kinship and heritage of the rest of said persons ancestry? Why is that not recognised?

I'm of Irish, English, Scots & German ancestry .... I claim to be none of those .... I'm Australian.
