Market Garden was a failure from the moment the British 30 corps failed to link up with the 101st Airborne on time on the first day ... after that it was all downhill.....

Somehow, Major General Sosaboswki, commander of the Polish Parachute Brigade, copped the blame for the failure at Arnhem .... his drop was delayed for days and was opposed instantly and his casualties high - including many Poles transferred to the Oosterbeek perimeter to hold on...  at a time when the British 1st Airborne division was down to less than half strength and 4th Parachute Brigade chopped to bits the day before on landing ... with 2nd Battalion and part of 3rd just holding on at the north end of The Bridge at Arnhem...  Sosabowski's side of the river had an entire SS Panzer Division, the 9th, opposing him....

Bit unfair, eh?  The failure was the plan....

What little I have read on the terror incidents in Australia have not been showing white Australians (or non-Muslims) as being the main perpetrators.

A brief google search of the list of terrorist incidents in Australia. Yugoslav and Croatian terror attacks -- yes, technically white people. One of a white nationalist who was gaoled in 2007, again. Then there are a lot of non-white Australian (or imported) people who have been the main perps since the 1990s.
