NAIDOC week they can kiss my  arse, I got it rammed down my throat at work every day. These Clunts can F*k off.

I think the only time NAIDOC week ever got on my nerves was when I was delayed getting to my destination because of a march down one of our main thoroughfares -- Musgrave Street. The local aboriginal community, featuring many school aged students, decided that it is important to get in the way, showing off their racial awareness.

The march only holds a second ranking to those Christmas parades that held my business place to ransom impeding customers' access to the store.
If you work for the government this Abo acknowledgement cr@p never stops.

Serious question, do your coworkers know what an unapologetic racist you are or do you have to hide it?
I echo the sentiments of my co workers.

I don't mean on just NAIDOC week. I mean, do you feel you have to hide your racism from your coworkers?
The vast majority of my co workers hold much harsher views towards Aboriginals than myself.

And we wonder why institutionalised racism is such a problem. Government sponsored even!

My coworkers, who happen to work with many Indigenous people as do i, don;t share those views.

Maybe that's why we tend to attain really good outcomes.

Show examples of "good outcomes" you have attained.

Are you saying that no good outcomes can be achieved with Indigenous people? You seem incredulous.

Why would that be a surprise to you? Don't manage it?

Difficult question?

Not at all. We get good outcomes weekly. From helping people escape violence to keeping kids in school. We've implemented many programs that support individuals and communities and bridge the gap.

So have a number of other organisations ... be they government or not.

All starts with treating people as equals.

You and your coworkers haven't got that sussed yet, by your own admission. I expect the result of that provides ample scenarios for confirmation bias.

Now this is where people should get crappy about where there tax dollars are going.

Chillingly Rhino, it all does beg the question why a bunch of racists would want to work with Aboriginal people. You're in a position of authority i take it from your posts?

Does your shovel come into it?

If you think i'm giving you anything specific you can use to identify me, you're dreaming.

You'll have to save your shovel for another schmuck.

Racial realists, not racists. You aren't on the front line, you wouldn't understand. Its easy enough to sit in an office and hand out food vouchers and pat yourself on the back about how you are making a difference. White noise Mothra.

How would identifying a situation without any markers be able to be used to identify you? In other words you cant back up your bullsh!te. As always.

Nope. I'm quite on the coal face, thanks.

One of my best friends works for the CPS in Alice. Her husband (also a dear friend) works for the Pitjantjatjara Council. Front line enough for you?

She's not a racist.  And quite the realist.

And isn't "racial realist" what all racists say?

Only problem is it's smiling.

I don't think our Rhino can.

Can you make it sneer contemptuously instead?

It's all a moot point

Abbos don't work, so they can't be offended in the workplace.
It's impossible to be discriminatory when there is no one to discriminate against.

But that's ok
Abbos can find many more places to find discrimination.
At the pub when they are kicked out for not paying
At the pub when they are kicked out for being drunk
At the pub when they are kicked out for being pests
At the pub when they are kicked out for starting fights
When the cops arrive to arrest them from drunken trouble
When the cops arrest them and put them in the party wagon
At the police station when they get charged
At the police station when they get put in a cell
In court when charged with D&D
Outside court when they scream racism.
At centafink when they don't get everything NOW.

Just about everywhere else.

But never at work
Because you have to work to be AT WORK.
AND THEY DONT EVER WORK.

I have noticed that during the opening of sporting games. It is getting a bit on the nose. Indigenous people want the best of both worlds. They want what first world society gives them. But they want to be the landlords that have inherited what they have had for free.

So endemic violence and kids not going to school are Aboriginal problems in the NT?

Who'd 've thunk it?

You know - the sign of genuine equality is when you don't notice the colour of the other person's skin .. though I'd include other features there as well just to be sure .... so they say.... funny thing is - I never once even thought that tennis player was one of Our Niggrahs, until someone said so... just like Ray Martin and Stan The Man/Tan and Blake Ferguson in the NRL - the thought never even crossed my mind...

Good to know they are all safe and sound in the bosom of the White Man's society and prospering well out of it...   Cool

(a simple "touche, sir" will do)...

Rhino - of all people - is a cop. Of course his shovel comes into it.

What else are you supposed to use on these people? Your service weapon's numbered. Each bullet's a few hours paperwork.

The shovel's free.
