I used to live just around the corner from him and would often bump into him walking to or from the beach and we used to hit the same cafe, so we were on chatting terms 'locals' style.

So one day were we walking back from the beach, he a few steps ahead of me and we passed a POS old backpackers Falcadore wagon for sale for a crazy price. He just stopped, looked at me and grinned...didn't need to say a word.

I entertain serious doubts about that conviction .... he wasn't on trial, as I've said before, for 'protecting' paedophile priests with silence and transfers etc ....

Emotion trumps Law every time... the hounds were out and baying for blood...

Thing is - Jarratt's acquittal casts certain other convictions in a dubious light.....

Geoffrey Rush - won a civil suit ... John Jarratt - won a legal case ..... certain others doing time on the word of self-confessed drug etc users with self-confessed mental issues ......
