Trumpery? Being a rapist from a good family is ok

Judge is lenient towards the rapist from an upper-class family. However, the appeals court overturned the decision and rape trial will proceed with the rapist tried as an adult.

This is reminiscent of the Harvard rapist from several years ago who received leniency because he was from a good family and a good school.

But a family court judge said it wasn’t rape. Instead, he wondered aloud if it was sexual assault, defining rape as something reserved for an attack at gunpoint by strangers.

He also said the young man came from a good family, attended an excellent school, had terrific grades and was an Eagle scout. Prosecutors, the judge said, should have explained to the girl and her family that pressing charges would destroy the boy’s life. ...

Whatever happened to alleged rapists who wanted an investigation to clear their name?

This guy is not even denying the rape. He wants the investigation stopped.

Judge James Troiano. 70 years of age. Brought in when needed. Family court

believes rape requires use of gun or weapon, more than one rapist involved, victim taken to shack or shed and beaten half to death. Other than that, and bits I failed to catch -- it's not rape, according to the judge

Judge sympathetic to the admitted, proven, filmed rapist and asks prosecutors if the victim realises how badly she could be screwing up the rapist's life

What better lesson could he be taught other than to be forced to reincarnate as a small, weak female who fate decrees should run into many men such as the rapist he wanted to exonerate. Let's make that ten or twenty lives for him as a weak, small female ...

If that's what you really believe, spend a bit of time browsing true-crime type videos on YouTube. And you'll find there are more about white murderers than blacks. Maybe there isn't the demand for black killer videos, don't know. Regardless, there are hundreds about white killers of every age and description

and let's remember the prosecutor who appealed again judge Trioano's decision and got the case back into court. Do you believe the prosecutor and his team were all blacks? If not, it must be that white law enforcement forced a privileged white kid back into court to be tried as an adult

and the privileged white kid confessed. It was the Italian judge who wanted to make it about privilege and reverse victimisation, not the white kid, not the prosecution team
